Viva Las Vegas is definitely one of Elvis best movies. Elvis and Ann Margaret had such great chemistry together. While they stayed good friends for the remainder of Elvis life, I always felt that the one woman that was the perfect match for him was Ann Margaret. They should have married.

Ann's characters name in this movie is Rusty. Elvis called her by that nickname for the rest of his life. Whenever Ann started a new residency in Las Vegas or Lake Tahoe or someplace Elvis always used to send her a huge bouquet of flowers. She says when that bouquet didn't arrive one day that's when she knew he was dead.
My favorite line from "Viva Las Vegas" is when Ann-Margret asks Elvis and his friend to "check the motor on my car..it whistles.." and Elvis says, "I don't blame it."
OMG, You've got to see Viva Las Vegas! I've loved Elvis since I was 5. Unfortunately, we were very poor so I couldn't buy his records, nor did I ever get to see him in person. The day he passed my family was nervous about telling me. Broke my heart. I'm 66 now, Elvis was truly one of a kind.
