It's a great summer get away destination too. Nice cool water. Yes the no cooler part does keep it clean and family friendly. One reason they told us , is because there is no food on the grass you won't see any ants or bugs. Probably because 99.5 % of the people are later out on their blankets or towels on the grass catching some sun or shade
Lol. Thanks I tried. You should see the clips that didn't make it to the video . Maybe I should put those at the end of the videos to see how it performs. Barton is an awesome place for the summer heat . Not far from Houston 😁
Thats awesome . You should try to go back. Thats one of my favorite places to swim in the summer. It's nice and cool , very deep , clean and lots of room . LOL. Have you ever gone for the bear plunge? I think that's what it's called
@@letsreviewhouston I go to Austin A LOT, I know that city almost as good as I know Houston and I know Houston like the back of my hand, haha. It would be a great place for me to take my snorkel masks and do some diving! Never heard of the bear plunge. On a side note, you should go to Town Lake aka Ladybird Lake and do standup paddleboarding, it's a lot of fun too. There's a good chance I'll be heading there for Memorial Day weekend.
@@MelvinMaya man is that the ace where people jump off a bridge into the water. Man Idk about the stand up paddle. I prob won't be able to drive back to houston after extreme upper muscle pain . 🤣🤣
@@letsreviewhouston Not sure if it's the same bridge or not but people do jump off of one over there. I've done the paddleboarding, and trust me when I tell you I'm not in shape, lol. And it really wasn't that bad, anytime you get too tired, just sit down and paddle like a canoe/kayak instead.
@@LifeRocksMdDS I've heard about the bats under the bridge too. But We seem to have one here in Houston tho. There's also some zip lines I want to look at in Austin too.
It’s not to far from the pool walk up to the gates to pay for the pool turn left and it will take you along side the river part where the rope swings are and rent paddle boards and canoes then keep going and you will get to the bridge where you can jump off
One of the best places in Texas for sure!
yeees.. totally .. specially if wanting to do something fun in the summer
Surprisingly I've never heard of this! Looks lively! No coolers is a good thing... I'm sure that helps keep it family friendly.

I need to go back here again! I haven't been since I was a teenager or maybe my early 20's, I actually learned to swim there as a kid.

@@MelvinMaya LOL . Sounds like I'm going to look into it for this summer. Sold 😎
Using the old Rock technique 1:41. Yeah I had to put on some lead weights!
I think i would try that next time. Getting the rocks sometimes gets tough 😅
DUDE! I’m saving up for a rebreather mask imma take that nice shots and my acaso action cam
You're going to enjoy it a ton. On a nice sunny day.
Looks like so much fun. Great pool 👍
Yes it's it . Even the admission price its great . Clean chilled water for the summer. It's just right 👍👍💪
wow ..did you find nemo?
Lol. Nope but i saw his friend the turtle swimming . A few other fish and oh yeah and some salamanders too. 😁
There’s so much to see at the bottom of the pool, definitely need to bring the snorkeling gear!
Yeees I totally agree. Specially on a very sunny day it's awesome
Been to Austin a few times, but never heard of that place! Looks like a fun spot to visit during the hot summer months.
Yeeessss. That's the perfect place for an affordable day in the summer. Water is nice and chilled. Where in Austin have you gone ?
@@letsreviewhouston mostly stayed downtown and visited places like the Capitol, Lady Bird Lake, historic district, saw the bats under the bridge etc.

We just made a video at Barton Springs Pool so so much fun definitely a go to place! Try the river next time rope swinging a bridge jumping too
Barton springs sure is tons of fun. Perfect for those hit summers. I do want to venture out and find that bridge.

Not saying it’s legal to jump from the bridge but everyone does it lol
@@BikiniTime thanks. I will definitely have to give it a try. I've seen other people do it. I think it's a must when in Austin. LOL

One of my favorite places in the summer when in Austin TX
Is it 88 ft. deep?
It might even get deeper in some areas.
Have you been to Barton Springs?
It's the best in the summers
