- In this deep dive 30min session I’m joined by fellow MVP and co host of RUclips’s cloud Conversations, Peter Rising, who explains how Microsoft’s Purview's - eDiscovery Premium feature works. From creating a eDiscovery case, placing users on legal hold and exporting and analysing data. If you’re interested in security & compliance. Then we’ll take you through the entire process and I guarantee that this is one session you won’t want to miss.

Andy, thank you so much for inviting me to the channel, and for the opportunity to talk about eDiscovery Premium - a great feature of Microsoft Purview.
Thanks Peter, you’re very welcome, and it was great to have you as a guest. Great session!
Amazing! I'm an information and data professional in Canada learning about Purview, and the two IT geeks on RUclips that I like the most actually collaborated! I literally just subscribed to Peter this morning, and subscribed to Andy's channel a month or so ago. Small world out there, even in RUclipsVerse!!! I appreciate you both very much, thank you for all the excellent learning! :)
Awesome, thank you!
Thank you Andy for this video 😊
Thank you this really added to my store of useful knowledge I can for sure see this coming in handy in the future
This was a good video Andy with Peter. . Hope you can do some little longer video's it really would be nice. Thanks.
Good overview. Thanks
Thank you so much Andy, I would link to see your train Purview series.
Hi, thanks for the video, can Ediscovery, find/search for sensitive data in endpoints and teams?
Yes but you may need a Teams premium licence to search meetings
Didn't know what this tool was, had to wait until around 12 minutes in to work it out.
Weird, for me, I timed it just over four minutes. You must be using a different clock to me 😊
My question is, I need to find all emails between usera and userb that contain "keyworda."
The only way I can figure out how to do it is to do two searches
do one search From:UserA To:UserB
do another search From:UserB To:UserA
Is there a way to combine them into one search?
Read the documentation on learn.Microsoft.com this will go through the steps 👍
Hii can you tell me how we can download the export of collection in microsoft purview (case) using API
You know I don’t know. You can export in CSV
hi,
i have a client that has a mailbox size of 100GB. the mailbox is full, and we are unable to take .pst of the mailbox. what can i do?
You could add an archive and off load some of the mail. Or educate your user to clean up his mailbox. You can create a pst but you would then have to copy the mail manually across. I’d start by cleaning up the mailbox. Good luck.
i want to know how a ediscovery manager is assigned. Does the global admin needs the right to do that. If yes then please guide which rights

@@AndyMaloneMVP I have gone through these documents but still I get this error when ever I add user as a ediscovery manager in compliance portal.
Client Error
Exception of type
MicrosoftExchange.Management.PSDDirectInvoke.DirectInvokeCmdletExecutionException was thrown
@@Ali_dada_travelHmm I’ll put money on that it’s one of three things. License, permissions browser issue. Have you tried using a different browser beyond that I’m afraid I would reach out to Microsoft for support.
There's a lot of talking instead of showing step-by-step instructions. I feel lost after watching the video.
Thanks for the feedback 👍
Hey, you can check out detailed step by step guidance on my deep dive eDiscovery videos over at our Cloud Conversations channel which Andy has linked to.
@@peterrising3169 I will certainly do that. I appreciate you taking the time to get back to me, sir.
