I'm from the area where Electric Callboy come from (called "Ruhrgebiet" in German - ruhr area), only 20 kilometers away.

Electric Callboy is amazing. Also check out "Pump It", "We Got the Moves", and "Spaceman". If you want to see a more serious side of them, the song "Hate/Love" is a good one.

100% agree. When I first heard Hypa Hypa, I honestly assumed they were a one hit wonder without listening to their other songs. I was like “I love this song, but I don’t really see them being able to make other songs like this that I also love.” Once I finally listened to We Got The Moves though, I loved it even more than Hypa Hypa. I’ve since listened to a lot more by them

Electric Callboy has like 5 or 6 different versions of Hypa Hypa with other bands. One band I know that did a really fun versions of this song is Saltatio Mortis. Another one of my favorite Electric Callboy songs is Spaceman. Electric Callboy's name was recently changed from Eskimo Callboy to Electric Callboy. Right now I believe they are touring in Europe and later this year they will be touring in the US. They will also be releasing a new album in September of this year.

1) They made a whole Record of 7 different covers of this song. Best version from WBTBWB (We butterfly the bread with butter). Btw. This is also a Band you need to check. Every version is worth to react but definitely this one. Other versions I like are from Saltatio Mortis or Axel One.

Electric Callboy are so much fun. They put out an EP of collaborations with other artists who covered Hypa Hypa in other genres. You should check out the WBTBWB version, which is even more wild than the original.
My favorite EC song is We Got the Moves. Such a great song and video.

The genre is best described as partycore to most people & yeah their different & awesome. Their other best songs you should check out are We Got The Moves, MC Thunder (parts 1v& 2), Pump It, Love/Hate, & Lost. So there's 6 songs to keep you happy & satisfied. Lol. Hope you enjoy them.
EC are are a rabbit hole om it´s own (making ofs for the videos, acoustic versions, "Hypa Hypa"-collaborations with other bands in different styles, etc). Have a nice ride. ;)

When you'll watch "We got the moves" watch after that the 2 vlogs to "Pump it" and than the MV "Pump it". It's like a little story.

Just fun to watch. They combine metal, poppie and fun together. But if you go back in time, they were totally metal :)
They're funny, they have a blast laughing at themselves, they're actually good musicians, and they're really nice guys to boot. We Got The Moves is mandatory watching, of course.

Hey Anastasia! Great to see you dig into Electric Callboy! And what a big fun to see first-reactions to that band xD You surely have been pointed to more of them like "We got the moves" (surely one of the top-good-mood-suprise-metal-songs xD). Some other Songs to go on with from them are "Pump it" and "Spaceman" ... those are the newer ones (with a new singer aswell). The elder ones are pretty fun too, for me - just for me - not sooo top notch like those coming up in the last time. Kevin and Nico are perfect together as singers and I love how you can have super cool and fun metal without taking it all too serious! :D

You should have a look to the live videos from the actuall European Tour (London, Antwerpen, Paris, Vienna). They will come to US in November!
EC are the masters of transitions and breakdowns in all directions, mostly upwards but also downwards for a short cool down (a scene in the pool in we got the moves).
An emotional rollercoaster ride that gives you an energetic feeling.
And just so you know, they do the costume changes when they play live!! They have 7 different versions of this song with other German bands. Varying from rap to country to folky. But the absolute best version, other than this one, is the one they did with We Butter The Bread with Butter!!! Being a metalhead, you will love it! It hits so frickin hard all the way through

I think I know what you mean in the middle there.
To me, the videos are an very important part of the experience, they show you the amount of seriousness (or better lack of it) that these guys have for themselves, and the impression without them would be a completely different one. Honestly, without the videos, I would not have stayed with this group. Which would be a shame, because musically they are REALLY good! The way they seamlessly blend and transition from and to these completely different styles alone is simply amazing, I have never seen or heard anything like it, at least on that level.

Exactly. They are making all this for fun, but on the other hand they are really really insanely good in all parts of their music. And never forget all those well known German GAMING youtubers dancing with them. :) Hand of Blood for example.

This has to be one of the best concerts to goto. At like a smaller venue so you can really see them on stage. I gotta look for some live shows. And your 100% right about not knowing what category they fall in. I have all these playlists and they don’t really belong on any of them, so they have their own.
Pascal, one of the band members, and his brother own and operate a video production company. Spaceman is the first video I seen them even mention themselves in the videos which I think they should have been doing from the get go. For in house production these videos are so well done from start to finish.

One of my favorite bands! I never get tired of people reacting to this vid. They do several styles from vids like this to pretty serious metal. Check out Crystals, Prisms and their new one Fckboi ft Conquer Divide which is a pop punk vid that looks like it's out of the late 90s. These three vids will give you a good cross section of their talent.
These guys are a rabbit hole all on their own. MC Thunder, Hypa Hypa, We Got The Moves, Pump It, and Spaceman, are all hilarious. Hate/Love has the same vibe but much darker, Crystals is nearly all in Metalcore.
