LA ta ta ta LA is SOS in Morse Code because of the pattern La ta ta ta La is . . . _ _ _ . . . which is SOS in Morse Code. Knowing BTS, nothing is coincidence. The kdrama is about a group of rangers of the Jirisan National Park trying to rescue survivors and lost trekkers so it is closely related to the meaning of SOS. GENIUS if u ask me.
Just want to point out that each member has their own places to shine, and this is one of those songs where absolutely *none of the other BTS members* could have equally done justice to, despite being *equally talented.*
I completely agree, Jin really shines in this song. It's like he combined his amazing vocal abilities with his acting major to act out a story through song.
I always thought Jin was great at breathy vocals. He just doesn’t get to show it much as you said. The beginning of Awake is one of my favorite examples 😊 and I am really excited for his solo album too whenever it may be!
Totally agree with you; this was Jin's best. Absolutely gorgeous. Stunning, in fact. I think solos like this are what comfort army during the break from group activities and make them actually look forward to it in ways, despite its being hard.

I honestly believe that everybody should hear all of Jin's masterpieces. They're beautiful, emotional and showcase his voice so well. Moon and Super Tuna 😉are different but still superbly done.

Jin can seem just goofy and simple minded to many but that's just because it is what he chooses to show. He can be very serious and show maturity and leadership skills as well. His ability to discern which side of him to show is a manifestation of emotional and social intelligence. I've always love his words, "Only you have to know how hard you work," and how he lives by it. He simply shows the result. All his solo songs, his singing with the group, and his improvement in dancing are all testaments to his greatness. I love Jin!
