The minute I heard Jin sing, "No way. No way." in "House of Cards" I KNEW he had unlimited potential that BTS had not really tapped into yet. He has been under used in BTS. He has a powerful lower range along with his stunningly exquisite falsetto and everything in between. His talent to infuse his singing with emotions stirs my heart and soul. I found a short RUclips video where Jin and JK are singing karaoke in an arcade room. The first time I heard him sing "Wild Flower,"...taking turns singing the lyrics with JK... I cried. The second time I cried and so on and so on. I want Jin to cover the song all by himself. Sorry JK. In one of BTS's last RunBTS episodes they all take turns singing karaoke. Jin sang "Wild Flower" all by himself. But the other guys were chatting while he sang it so I was distracted. I am greedy . I want more. I want more OSTs and covers...even his own album. Jin singing "Yours" has broken sales records all over the world. And he is topping the charts too. Coming from a musical theatre background I KNEW Jin had this voice in him. If he wanted to because of his added acting skills he could take on Broadway and win Tony Awards. That's how good he is. And yet he is so humble stating there are so many others out there who are better singers than he is. That may be true, but they lack the vulnerable and underlying tenderness and care that Jin caresses into a song! Jin has "It". And to think he never had sung before BTS. Thank you to Big Hit for investing in to Jin's hidden talent. The voice teacher and coach they found for him literally "pulled" this voice out of him. She said his biggest whine in the beginning was, "I can't". But later he turned into her favorite student ever because he practiced and practiced. She said he came further than any other student she has ever trained. So a big thank you to her and Big Hit. And a special thank you to the person who wrote this song, to the person who "cast" him to sing it, and to Jin himself for being brave enough to overcome his "I can't" fear. When BTS is officially over Jin will be sad. But he won't miss the dance practices and learning new and very difficult choreography. At their last concert Jin could be seen limping. He was in pain. But to our delight his future at becoming the number one male soloist in the world is a possibility. And I know Jin will continue happily singing and emoting for a long time. Thank you Jin and God Bless you on your life's journey to truth and happiness and contentment!!! I am your forever fan.💜💜

(here, 't' sound meets 'j' and they become a palatalized sound 'ch' as in 'church') A simiilar process is found in Korean with this 'theo' case. It becomes 'cheo' as you'd pronounced. For me. One reason that his lines are less than Jk, jmin and V is because fhey are more stable on both dancing and singing. I notice it whenever they perform. They rarely perform songs w/o damcing during performances on concerts or guestings. And the usual songs w/ choreos are the songs where he has least lines. We all know, the one who sings stays at the center. If he is considered to be not too stable when dancing it may affevt the performance. And i also notice whe. He sings and he's at the center, the choreo is more laxed compared to the 3 vocalists when singung at the center, their steps are more complexed. I'm sad seeing Jin having less lines and spotlight, but all i wish is for him to have his solo projects instead. I hope bighit would give him something like his solo mixtape w/ his own written songs + if suga or rm can write songs for him that would suit his voice. I'd love it.
