As a driver who loves my 2023 Civic SI, I just wish they would've made this AWD like what Toyota did with the Corolla, Camry and Prius. In cold weather using winter tires, my traction on dry pavement is sub-par under part throttle.
This is a simple solution. Don’t buy this type of vehicle for the weather that you live in. This car is more for someone like me who lives in Southern California.
@@sammyjammy6647 My previous car, a 2019 Accord Sport 2.0T 6-speed manual was far better even though it had 52 more horsepower and 81 lb/ft of torque and an open differential versus the LSD in the SI. The SI is probably too light and doesn't have sufficient weight over the front wheels.
This is the perfect car. Good HP, great interior, tried and true hybrid system. Great car overall for essentially anyone. Great sneak peak review as always my friend
Good looking car, nice interior, decent power, great fuel economy, good reliability, and it’s affordable. Honda is going to sell a ton of Civic Hybrids. And yes, I’m a little biased because I’ve already owned two 11th gen. Civics, including the new Si I just got a few weeks ago!
The Honda interior has the best and most premium appearance at its price point. But they need to follow VW and get the navigation on the dash screen. VW has the best nav system on the market period.

What they don’t tell you in all their media hype is that Homelink is gone and you have to “SUBSCRIBE” to something to open the garage door from the touch screen. No thanks.
Honda should apologize for making a non-Si Civic more powerful than an Integra (any non Type S model) and create a factory tune, covered under warranty for like, 230hp and 230 ft tq. for any driving enthusiust that bought an Integra. Please address this to Honda.

But I’ve saved for 3 years and had almost all of the money to pay it off by August 8. I’ll be about $5000.00 short. I like it. Smooth and refined and I’ve hit 42mpgs and I only have 315 miles on her.
Until it breaks down out of warranty, battery won't last past 100, 150k miles .. ill take my ICE until they master electric without hybrid garbage. My 2022 civic touring hatch is perfectly fine and not a problem with it. Gas is still very respectable.
My grandma has a 2010 model Prius with 250,000 miles on the original hybrid battery. Drives it all over the place! The electric system has had zero issues since day one and the gas engine had to have a head gasket so I would argue the electric system is more reliable than the gas as it’s more simple. Oh and original brake pads too I believe due to regen. I have a 2015 one with 175,000 miles on it on same hybrid battery, just replaced the 12 V battery last month for the first time! It was 9 years old. I bet I can find a photo of it if you don’t believe me lol. I believe it’s because all it does is activate a couple relays and then the main hybrid battery is what actually starts the car so there’s very little use on the 12v battery. So, as far as Maintenance goes, my experience with hybrids are = incredibly low maintenance and crazy efficient.
@AnnoyinglyCharmingI mean, not really. The CX-90 tops out at around upper $60’s. Plus, Toyota and Honda tend to coast on their name. If you look into Mazda, they’ve been doing some really good things.
