@@mrfantastic7346 I thought a player had to be at least 5 yards off the sideline before ball was snapped 🤷♂️
@@phill7507 vols head coach lines wideouts 1-2 yards off the sideline on alot of plays
Amazing how he did that with that severe injury.
classic sleeping receiver - used it in the 80's
Not really trick but dirty!
How’s it a dirty play? It’s like snapping the ball before the other team is set. The def has to be ready for the offense, not the other way around.
This is like the guy who hides behind the refs in the nba and gets 2 steals a game and thinks he’s a god
@@mistahss9612 because you have to wait for subs. 1 person went on and 1 person came off. Which YOU HAVE TO RESPECT THAT BECAUSE OF THE RULES. This is dirty not a trick play. You have to respect the subs and give them time to sub. He was also lined up outside the numbers which is an illegal formation. This play would never work nfl, or college because their refs pay way more attention than highschool. Also highschool refs are usually not realy football people or even super knowledgeable about football. I played in highschool and had refs asking my coach what a holding looked because he let it happen like 5 times in a row.
@@mistahss9612 I guess I just look at it is more poor sportsmanship guy act like he was hurt headed back to the sideline most teams would let that happen ( sub out) The opposing offense that is
@@KidSereneonxbox outside the numbers is an illegal formation?!?! 🤣🤣🤣 you must not be a real football person either lmao. Waiting for the subs is BS and only a new concept that’s been around for like maybe 10 years.
This has been a thing since I was playing football in my junior high days! Pretty sure there were other teams doing this way before my days
So it is the greatest trick play!
Most y’all don’t know football. It’s called a trick play. This isn’t bad sportsmanship it’s football
imagine if he didn’t catch it💀
When you can’t beat your opponent head to head
Fun fact they actually won by quite a bit
Play smarter not harder
Exactly. I’m not impressed AT ALL.
When you're salty because brains beat brawn.
Like a Tom Petty song
"EVEN THE LOSERS, GET LUCKY SOMETIME ?
Bruh we literally tried that same strategy when I was like 9/10 years old playing playing in the mighty mite leagues.
I'll be 25 this year.
Right We did it 22 years ago
🤣🤣🤣🤣
So did it work?
@@shadetreemech290 they didn't respond, it must not have ended well 😳

Me following the player incase it’s a trick: 🧑🏼🦽🦏
It's not crazy, it's cheap and shouldn't be encouraged. The coach shouldn't be coaching if this is how they're going to run their team.
so? it’s allowed so why not have some fun
@@zstacti because it's poor sportsmanship, how do you not understand that? Not to mention do you want to teach your kids how to play dirty?
@@TMAJ0R who cares if it’s “dirty” it’s allowed, the other team could’ve done it too if they wanted to, and it’s being smart and kinda sneaky
My dad did this when I played for ymca 😂
The reason you won't see this play too often is cause some might perceive it as disrespectful and unsportsmanlike. When a player gets hurt, everyone, including opponents, kind of stop what they're doing until they're certain he's okay, out
An OLD play, we called it "The Phantom" back in the early '70s.
And you know it
All of these trick plays are old as fuck. Decades old
