Age Of Reason is John’s second most successful song after You’re The Voice
Age Of Reason was released in 1988 the same year John was named Australian Of The Year .
Age Of Reason co written by Todd Hunter ( from New Zealand formed but Australia based band Dragon) and his wife Johanna Pigott making it the first Australian song to hit number 1 written by a Australian female songwriter.
The song was written with John in mind to sing it after John asked Todd Hunter to write him a song .
Great reaction. I think you missed John literally throwing his microphone stand to the front of him around 5.40. He then kicked it up into his hands at 6.00. We cannot afford to take our eyes of this legend, he is always doing tricks and interacting with his audience and band/backup singers. An amazingly tight family in music and friendship.
You should check out John and his backup singer Lisa Edwards singing Angels. They have beautiful voices together.
I think John's stamina comes from simply loving what he's doing. ❤❤
And living on his farm, and working with his horses.
This is one of my favourite songs by John. He is an Aussie legend not only for his singing but the man he is.

Johns musical arrangements are just phenomenal and David Hirschfelder is a musical genius, but always surrounded himself with best. Some of them were with him for some 40 years. ❤😂🎉

I like John Farnham's song, "Chain Reaction". It's quite upbeat, and has the harmonica in it too.
So many good songs in this concert. And so many others of his concerts have been recorded so you still have e so much to discover. He's a legend❤

Possibly my favourite Johnny F song. One of the background singers was Vanette Fields who was a Motown singer.

The key board guy Davis he writes alot of the music to the songs
Also when the used Melbourne symphony orchestra he had to work out hiw to combine all the instruments to work together
The voice he had to change all the music to soot the bagpipes as they only play in one key so had to write all the instruments in that key
