It’s genuinely shocking to me that this channel has fewer than 500 subscribers. With such high production quality, it’s just a matter of time until it gets the attention it deserves
I'm not a hater, but this is a imitation of The Squidd, so it's not his style, the thumbnails are already a stolen style. I would check out The Squidd he has some interesting stuff
there are many similarities and possibly plagerism of so many different platforms but hey, it still sounds good and looks good, so i’m not complaining.
Great video but I can't stand the blurring in after affects. I would like to be able to look around the pictures as I please. Not be forced to look at just what's in focus
I find it fascinating that one of the red 911 cars doing a scanvian flick before the Eau Rouge corner as you can see the back end of the car stepping out you can see it on 1:41
1:30 didn't realised Porsche is now known to be making ultra-luxury cars. Last time I checked , throughout the history they were rather making sports cars and ultra-competitive race cars.
then you have never been in a porsche yourself. the thing with porsche is, yes, they are race cars for the street., but they are very comfortable to drive, they have air conditioning, sound system asoasf. they are luxury race cars that you can use comfortably on a daily base. have you ever tried to do groceries in a ferrari f40? in a porsche its no problem.
Fantastic! The way you narrate the epic story, from the 'small motor company we might have heard of' to the 'man had not landed on the moon', ie. mechanical engineering without AutoCAD, right through to the addition of the rear wing and eventual racing success at Daytona and LeMans really makes this one a great historical automotive documentary to watch and learn from.
a small anecdote I heard about the 917 (don't know if it's true): Apparently the car was supposed to have a glas window over the rear large cooling fan. However, in testing the fan sucked so much air that the glas just shattered. So they just got rid of it
Just found your channel today, you are an incredibly talented car guy. These videos are filled with quantifiable empirical information, solid and entertaining imagery and even better writing. Keep it up man!
Thank you for making this video. My late uncle was a crew chief for Porsche when they were running this car. I don't know all the specifics, But I know it was at Fuji Speedway. He had a photo album with a lot of pictures of at least one race. I wish I had the photo album. I only have a single copy of one picture.
@@alejandrotomas8506 For some people, tut-tuttering, judging, and for middle-aged people fearful of all the 'Hippies,' Woodstock would have been "Notorious"; Others might remember the 100 mile traffic jam to try to get there (that became partly it's own party). And of course the mud and rain. But Woodstock is most "Renowned" for its fabulous music and togetherness Spirit (often celebrated). And that Spirit helped convince many that the Youth might have good energies and new views to offer.
I can’t get over the production quality here for such a small channel! I get the feeling that this making so many peoples feeds is going to make this channel explode!
Fun fact: I knew Piech's grandson or great grand son, idk really, but i went to primar school with him. (onnde another kid got picked up by his dad in a bugatti chiron)
Kalle is hanging around with former F1-drivers and now takes some leave from rallying to race a Porsche on tarmac circuits. I wonder what's happening here? Is this some kind of operation to hijack the double WRC champion completely to the dark side, the tarmac side? Kalle already had given his pinky to tarmac racing by doing drift racing between rallies. Is this the start of the end of gravel racing for Kalle? Are the two dark lords here on a mission to corrupt the rally world? Time will tell.. 🤔
Back in the day were people could still use the best Computer even created their Brains yes Modern computers can speed things up and even save major mistakes but there is still no substitute for the Human Brian and its ability to think and imagine things outside the box and not to be restrained to pure logic or working in the confines and limits of its program. This is why those Sport cars that raced at Le_Mans in the late 60's into the early parts of the 70's are such classics in form and design. I have no doubt some of those 200 + cars were little more than rolling chassis let face it the very same Guy now Running VW and thus Audi pulled apparently the same trick when they Built the 200 Audi Sports Quattro that the FIA inspected for entry into Group B rummer have it that they never ever built the 200 or sold the 200 cars need before they could build the Rally version and that in fact many were just converted straight to rally use and this is why they are still such a rare car to find in street form even more so if you subtract the many excellent replica's have been built since the end of Group B. Porsche in Motor sport is a very interesting story and how against the odds they still manage to keep doing so without the massive budgets of other teams though VW always has their backs covered should they get into a mess as they have done several times.
and this year 2024 may be his 20 win at le mans the 963 looks dominant at 24 hours of daytona and 1912km of quatar so time will tell if they can beat the toyota gr010 and the ferrari 499p
I find that you are imitating The Squidd, still i really like the style so i will watch it even though i find you unorginal and not creative. Thank you for the video

Correction:
the german word for short is kurz, not kurtz.

It’s even funnier when this script follows the same script done by James May in the Grand Tour 917 episode.
there are many similarities and possibly plagerism of so many different platforms but hey, it still sounds good and looks good, so i’m not complaining.
Just found this channel
And man the quality of this channel is so good, It deserves more attention
Great work my friend
Great video but I can't stand the blurring in after affects. I would like to be able to look around the pictures as I please. Not be forced to look at just what's in focus
and now Porsche is doing it again with the 963
hopefully they can secure their 20th win this year
I find it fascinating that one of the red 911 cars doing a scanvian flick before the Eau Rouge corner as you can see the back end of the car stepping out you can see it on 1:41
I saw a couple of your videos, and it's strange that you have not even 400 subscribers! Keep up the good work bro!
Thank you for the kind words, and thanks for watching :)
That's exactly what I said!
...Except with a lot more words 🙈🙃
You should see what they did in Can-Am with a modified 917
nah they made a monster there
Porse 917. My favorite racecar of all times. ❤
1:30 didn't realised Porsche is now known to be making ultra-luxury cars. Last time I checked , throughout the history they were rather making sports cars and ultra-competitive race cars.

@@Cockcolavspepecolabro he has a fair point😂
they still do in fact, but they have expanded thanks to their success

230+ mph in the first 917 must be so fucking scary man holy shit
Just found your channel today, you are an incredibly talented car guy. These videos are filled with quantifiable empirical information, solid and entertaining imagery and even better writing. Keep it up man!
Thank you, those are very kind words :)
I always thought it was so cool seeing that 917 every once in a while on 91 between Corona and 55 to Newport in the mid to late 70s.
It had the big Gulf insignia on the doors
I got to see a Porsche 917 at the Brumos collection in Florida. It looks sooo sexy in person
Hitech from Germany whit the quality standards on a much higher level
Your style reminds me very much of the squidd, and I'm all for it. Thanks for helping me scratch that itch until he next reuploads!
Love it. This is GOATED content. This chanel deserve more attention 🙏🏻 l
Somewhat correct pronunciation of Piech LESGO!!

Thank you for sharing, and for watching!
Something to add, Ferdinand Piëch said that the driver who better understood the 917 was Pedro Rodríguez
Ayo that AI thumbnail looks like the Amalgamation of the 70s Group 6 holy Trinity instead! (Which the 917 is a part of but you get the point)
Yes, total mess AI.
Keep it up bro AWESOME vids!
Will do! Thanks for watching :)
It was one family - Piëch was the daughter (Maiden Name Porsche) and Porsche the son. Also Ferdinand Piëch was the later CEO of Audi and Volkswagen
how does this channel only have 2 and a half thousand followers crazy production man
Great video sir
awesome video commenting for engagement
Great content!
Can we not use ai generated thumbnails please
Womp
oh boo hoo. a channel with 2500 subscribers with likely just 1 or a few people working on it used a tool to easily make an eyecatching thumbnail.
🤓
It also looks nothing like a 917.
Can we also not rip the same script from the grand tour 917 epsiode
How was Woodstock 'notorious'?
Yes, wrong term. Should've been: "Renowned," or some such.
Notorious maybe because of the sex and drugs?

Such a well made video
I wonder if Brian Redman would've thought "Who's that bloke? I'm much better looking than Bell" . . . LOL
An excellent story.

I LOVE PORSCHE!
9:09 The background music is bloody loud and annoying.
There was no dispute about ownership of Porsche during the 1960s.

great video, hate the ai thumbnails

THESQUIDD is that you?
I'm an engineer. I promise you, humans are far better engineers when they have to use their head as opposed to computers for FEA, CAD etc.
I would say: slower in calculating and drawing, but way more creative.
Bro watched the Ludwig video about how to do RUclips
this feels like bootleg the squidd but hey good work
how do you have so little subs
Its spelled "kurz" meaning "short"

Total miss of the 917/10 and 917/30 in can-am and spd records at Talladega.

Not a fan of the artificial blurring of still photos. Stop doing that and your videos will be much better.
Thanks for the feedback 👌🏽
Kurtz? That is a made up name for the car. Kurz if for short
The car in the thumbnail is A.I. generated
Why are you blurring the photos???? Annoying AF!!!!
