@Caroline Poole the thing is, as people mature and age they can get fine lines around the lip line that causes fathering with products like this. you can use clear lip liner to combat this but if you can find a product that doesn't need it that's great.

I agree, especially because with lip products, they can look much different on (and on different people). I know people put filters on things to make them look closer to get more views/likes etc, but maybe the Kylie 22 "dupe" would be closer when actually on the lips.

That being said, I live over an hour to the closest places like Ulta, Sephora, or a mall in general. I do not like to buy cosmetics online because I like to see what I am buying after being burned so many times. I don't spend a lot of money on myself except on skin care and I splurge on Arbonne, which if you have some suggestions for dupes for that I would LOVE it. I have just recently started purchasing higher end make up, I have been in the beauty business for over 45 yrs. so I have seen and used all kinds of products. I have always thought that a good artist should be able to use just about any product!! But I guess it takes a lot of hit and misses.. Some of the higher priced stuff was crappy, as well, some of the dollar store finds have been great!! Just be an informed consumer!!! That's where I thank You, Tati, You are the best!!!!!

The cream blushes are also super awesome! Sephora usually has them on sale but regardless of that they're super awesome! They are super pigmented and really last a long time... A little goes a long way.

As a beauty therapist I would not recommend Essie polish it chips in comparison to opi!! That blue is particularly crap! And goes thick and glob by after being open after a few uses ! And in my country it costs quite a lot more then $8
Essie lasts SOOO much longer on my nails than OPI. It depends on the type of you nails and how oily and stuff they are so it works different for everyone!
The liquid suede formula is sooo much better than the lingerie formula! Comparable to KVD or Jeffree Star. They feel very comfortable on the lips. The lingerie formula was chunky and didn't dry down on the ones I tried :/
From my experience, the formula of Kat Von D is a lot better than NYX liquid suede. The liquid suedes can be a little sticky, especially if you try to reapply without completely taking off the layer you already had on. I've learned that the trick to wearing them is to only use a thin layer. I haven't tried the lingerie lipsticks, so I don't know how they compare. Kat Von D is much better along the lines of wear time and comfort, but if you want the lolita color, I'd still recommend the NYX dupe that Tati mentioned. Soft spoken isn't quite as warm toned as lolita, but it's pretty close!

I just bought Soft Spoken by NYX today and it is not that color at all!!! Mine is a mauvey dusty rose color. Super pretty but not what I was expecting after seeing this. Can anyone explain why this is?

I have soft-spoken and I love it, but it's kind of weird lol. I notice that, on me, in artificial light (like my bedroom or bathroom), it looks more brown-ish/tan. In natural light, on me, it's the mauve-y dusty rose color like you were describing. So I guess what I'm saying is that it may not only depend on skin tone, but also lighting (artificial vs natural).
i already own soft spoken and could pick it out before i registered the name. but it looked similar in the video to me as it did in real life, which is nude/ brown color, but it does change in the light. but on me it's almost completely nude with a purple undertone

I really hope you read this because this means a lot to me. I am a mom with two boys and I am a nurse who lives on a farm in a very rural area. That being said, I live over an hour to the closest places like Ulta, Sephora, or a mall in general. I do not like to buy cosmetics online because I like to see what I am buying after being burned so many times. I don't spend a lot of money on myself except on skin care and I splurge on Arbonne, which if you have some suggestions for dupes for that I would LOVE it. Anyway, I watch a lot of different channels but I have been OBSESSED with your channel because you talk about things important to me and you don't act like an idiot and you are really honest about makeup and it is not always "Oh I just love this 100$ foundation, you must buy it!" You are so right about Wet And Wild !!!!! Many times that is all I could afford!!! I have just recently started purchasing higher end make up, I have been in the beauty business for over 45 yrs. so I have seen and used all kinds of products. I have always thought that a good artist should be able to use just about any product!! But I guess it takes a lot of hit and misses.. Some of the higher priced stuff was crappy, as well, some of the dollar store finds have been great!! Just be an informed consumer!!! That's where I thank You, Tati, You are the best!!!!!

The feathering is horrible!! I have berry and another darker shade and I can't wear them w/o a clear liner. I think I'll try the Color Jolts instead.
I have melted fig and notice the feathering when I swatch it but not so much on the lips.

occ lip tars are great! Super long lasting and easy to apply with the new applicator/packaging
The cream blushes are also super awesome! Sephora usually has them on sale but regardless of that they're super awesome! They are super pigmented and really last a long time... A little goes a long way.

As a beauty therapist I would not recommend Essie polish it chips in comparison to opi!! That blue is particularly crap! And goes thick and glob by after being open after a few uses ! And in my country it costs quite a lot more then $8

Essie lasts SOOO much longer on my nails than OPI. It depends on the type of you nails and how oily and stuff they are so it works different for everyone!

Is the NYX liquid suede formula comparable to the Kat Von D lipstick? I tried the lingerie liquid lipsticks by NYX and I wasn't very impressed...
The liquid suede formula is sooo much better than the lingerie formula! Comparable to KVD or Jeffree Star. They feel very comfortable on the lips. The lingerie formula was chunky and didn't dry down on the ones I tried :/
From my experience, the formula of Kat Von D is a lot better than NYX liquid suede. The liquid suedes can be a little sticky, especially if you try to reapply without completely taking off the layer you already had on. I've learned that the trick to wearing them is to only use a thin layer. I haven't tried the lingerie lipsticks, so I don't know how they compare. Kat Von D is much better along the lines of wear time and comfort, but if you want the lolita color, I'd still recommend the NYX dupe that Tati mentioned. Soft spoken isn't quite as warm toned as lolita, but it's pretty close!
liquid suede is awful (and I LOVE the lingerie liquid lipsticks). It stays tacky (never dries down) and transfers like crazy.

I just bought Soft Spoken by NYX today and it is not that color at all!!! Mine is a mauvey dusty rose color. Super pretty but not what I was expecting after seeing this. Can anyone explain why this is?

I have soft-spoken and I love it, but it's kind of weird lol. I notice that, on me, in artificial light (like my bedroom or bathroom), it looks more brown-ish/tan. In natural light, on me, it's the mauve-y dusty rose color like you were describing. So I guess what I'm saying is that it may not only depend on skin tone, but also lighting (artificial vs natural).
i already own soft spoken and could pick it out before i registered the name. but it looked similar in the video to me as it did in real life, which is nude/ brown color, but it does change in the light. but on me it's almost completely nude with a purple undertone
