I used to play Trumpet in my days. This is music to the soul, combo to Trumpet, Drums, Bass, EVERYTHING! My body and mind just melted to the tenor sax solo!
Great playing, great musicianship and recording which resulted in this excellent album! Releasing this album on cd or vinyl would be awesome. The music of lo greco bros certainly deserves it.

Wonderful rhythms and traditional/contemporary instrumentation. Love the tight bass grooves and brass sounds. The production is clean and unobtrusive, allowing the feeling and melodies to shine through. I am also impressed with the dry effects on the drums. As a musician, composer and currently classical chamber orchestra leader who has worked in a number of genres with producers such as Daniel Lanois and musicians like the late Billy Preston, I appreciated the quality of the project and what you are trying to achieve. Do it! I'm actually using some of these tracks to improvise over. The rhythmic ideas are endless, and I'm soloing over it. Ducking in and out of the pockets, dragging the time, and even some contrapuntal stuff.

I was trying to find a song like caravan from wihiplast and other music like it. I tried all types of searches and coundt find anything. Found this and wow. I have listened to this in its entirety at least 5 times. I dont know why this does not have more likes

the reason why it is hard to find is: IMHO wrong use of the words FUNKY jazz. To me personal this is still smooth jazz. So try a search for smooth jazz. To me personal funky means more syncopic groovin, playing faster and that the mood of the songs is even more happier than the mood of these songs
