  • Hi, my name is Lakeisha of PoweFolk Living. My husband and I, along with our children, set out to raise more and more of our food each year. And you can't have a growing garden without lots of FLOWERS! . We live on a small homestead. Where we raise hens, meat birds, and goats. We're not sure where this journey will take us, but we welcome you to join us! We hope in sharing some of our experiences, we will be an encouragement & have lots of FUN! WELCOME TO PoweFolkLiving!

Greetings from a 6a Michigan! I’m binge watching videos today because it’s 91 degrees. I’m a thrifty shopper too! My colors in my garden is blue gray and beige 🦋Most of my gardens are in containers ( I’m 74) Suburban living has large yards with lots of grass(I’m not a grass person) I try and eat what I grow. Your property is beautiful! Lot of wonderful things to enjoy. I have no yard art yet still looking 😌 Thank you for sharing.

@Angie-ci1lp Hi! Thank you for commenting! Thrifting definitely is a good time! Blue and gray is a nice combination! I started gardening in containers when I had a very small backyard. You definitely can grow lots of food that way!
