@@monchy25 I pulled mine from the beam. My shifter rod bracket was completely broke and previous owner rigged it up. A tip for you, put the plastic bushing in the hanger first, grease the heck out of the rod then install from the beam side. Install bushing after you weld everything up. I hope this helps
@@lamardixon4485 thanks Lamar, yeah I was thinking about putting it after welding, if I put it before I figure will welding metal gets so hot that I might have melted it.

A coat hanger is long enough?
Yes a coat hanger will work
