I like the part where Jennifer stops at floor 2 after using the elevator and she just sees Mary standing at the end of the hall, holding a knife behind her back, the rain effects gave it more atmosphere. It’d be nice if this game got a remake.
The canon ending is either A, B, or C. Jennifer canonically survives, but all the other girls die. The scariest ending is F by far. Especially since it's the only time in the whole game where blood is shown, and we never see exactly what Bobby did to Jennifer. These kinds of things are often scarier when left to the imagination.
According to the sequel, a scene has Jennifer shrink back at the mention of Dan's name, something she only learned in Ending C. Thus, Ending C is the true canonical ending.
Still the SNES Version was still much better rather than the PS1 Remastered Version, although I like how the story become more detailed on the PS1 Remastered Version.
its an alternate way i guess for the A ending (non canon btw) the player let laura die in the beginning. the game basically starts you off by sacrificing laura or ann depending on which place you go. laura dies in the shower if you open the curtains and ann dies either by ceiling or pool. there is also the glitched possibility i have heard about which just causes a worse ending since one of the two has to die in order to spawn lotte the third girl that dies nonetheless
The thing that differentiates the "H" ending and the "G" ending is whether your saw both Laura and Ann die or if you only saw one of them die. If you saw both of them die, you get the G ending where you just see the note saying Jennifer was found dead. It's left open-ended, however if you left that early in the game you do not know that Mary is directly responsible. Since Mary is the headmistress at the orphanage, she could easily just off Jennifer while she slept. If you only saw one of them die, if you drive off Scissorman just gets you and you see the scissors come up. You just ran right off and didn't think to check the backseat.
S is the best / true ending and all the others you either die/survive with the other girl dead. as for the worst, worst, I dunno, thats a own preference.

Sound Effects of the Scissors, Footsteps, Specially the Music is way Better on the SNES than the PS1 Version.
The SNES version was just better in general if you ask me, only thing I like better in this version is the alter room music
