Now that you mention it, him avoiding parts of his parts & saying he's not like "the others" here, I think it's more than likely. I hope it's a side mystery that can be solved at the end with Batman having some reaction at the end. They said there's no side missions in this game but it would've been to have one regarding Chill that ends with direct confrontation between him & Batman.
Okay so I wasn’t the only person who thought that. Side note, the kid that Bats threw through a wall before going berserk in part one might have been Dick Grayson.
This is such a great game where the devs actually planned and took the time to actually explore the story of the games including the fact that the made references to Arkham Origins Blackgate with Deadshot’s target poster, Joker Teeth, Penguin Cages, and Black Masks destroyable masks. I never thought they would include all the criminals from the case files in Origins. As they said, they did study the continuity of the Arkham games & it seems particularly Origins got the most display here which is great as it makes it a proper sequel to that game. Also I'd love a flat screen Origins sequel picking up from this alongside that remaster.
Yeah maybe if she had been a member of the arkhamverse justice league maybe she would have tried to use her magic or better yet contacted other dc magical heroes like shazam, john Constantine and dr fate to try and find away to free the mind controlled justice league from brainiac instead of killing because since brainiac is a creature of science and zatanna and the other dc magical heroes have magic because magic and science don't mix well together perhaps magic would have been the solution to freeing the league from brainiac control because when wonder woman used her lasso of truth on the flash it almost brought him out of brainiac brainwashing but the lasso of truth wasn't enough so if zatanna,dr fate and John Constantine used their magics maybe it would have freed the justice league without killing them

Poor Leslie Thompkins. Can't imagine how she feels about both her boys Harvey and Bruce ending up working outside the law. Love how she told Bruce to kill BOTH voices. Total mom power.
I can only imagine how she felt about Harvey's turn into Two-Face. It makes the other games mre tragic for me. And I loved Leslie telling Bruce to quit the voices too. It's such a human moment for Arkham Batman & great display of acting for RCG.
I was thinking that too. Even in Origins she gave the impression that she wasn't just the mild-manned doctor she comes across. But here she actually seems like serious, empathetic psychiatrist who truly cares for her patients. It's surreal that this Harleen goes onto poison Dr. Burke & his daughter & overall become the Harley Quinn we saw from the Arkham games & SS:KTJL.
@@themadtitan7603 i dont get why she's so good in this game, even in Origins it's implied she was the one who broke joker out basically starting the riot

@themadtitan7603 Absolutely 💯. I personally still wish this was on console or on a psvr but regardless still looks amazing
@@philipblaise5166 PSVR ? if you have the psvr2 just wait a bit it will be on SteamVR
20:06 never thought we see Braden again after what happened in Origins.
I didn't expect him here or that he would've ever worked in TYGER, but it's cool how they went back & gave him a story after Origins.
@@themadtitan7603yeah and after he lost the chance to be 50 million dollars richer.
The crooked cop and some of people that was in the cases of murders are in. Guess can't leave them out if this is years later after Origin.
Fr. Batman disrespected the FUCK out of him!!!!!😂
Guess we now know what happened to Branden after Origins. Just must’ve promoted himself from corrupt cop to corrupt security guard for TYGER
The audio log did detail it.
41:32 “Falcohn” 😂 Tell that to Matt Reeves. He did everything right in The Penguin show except Falcone’s name pronunciation
And Gotham said his name like that too. I guess it’s easier to differentiate from Maroni
I thought "Falcohn" was just the Americanized pronunciation versus the Italian "Falco-nee". Although you got a point about the Reevesverse because even the Falcone family members say it like the former.
@@themadtitan7603yes seems like a ra’s ah ghul thing with the name were Americans get it wrong then pretend it’s the real pronunciation
Except cobblepot diego
@@luisclaudio3576 Yeah, but that was deliberate, Luis
I love they put Leslie Tompkins in this and she knows Bruce down to point she like don’t talk like Batman to me lol love that
2:33 My boy Matches Malone. Underrated DC character :D
The fact that he keeps using the Matches Malone voice even when he's by himself.
I think we just hear his thoughts when he's by himself, and he tries to stay in character
@@adamH.1 His thoughts also being in-character is the strange part for me but it's very Bruce to do so. As he usually almost completely disappears when he inhabits an aspect of his personality.
Really shows the dedication Bruce puts in in order to remain in character. Not even his own thoughts are allowed to reveal who he truly is. Truly playing 4D chess with himself.
Alright dawg I been patient where tf part 3 at……you got the nicest gameplay on RUclips and I need your Batman content so let’s lock it in.
Also I was kinda jokingly being a dick but I’ve seen some comments and you’ve gotten a bunch of shit actually thrown your way. Hope all is well because I’ve been watching you for years now and I’m sure you will let us know what’s going on when you can. But still lock it in I need your walkthroughs I fr can’t watch other people play
Joe is Joe Chill, I’m betting on it. Also the connection between Harvey and Bruce as kids… I’m hoping we see Harvey become Two-Face because that seems to be setting that up
Now that you mention it, him avoiding parts of his parts & saying he's not like "the others" here, I think it's more than likely.
@@thelordofchaos-2009I thought the same, they made him seem important (and if I’m not mistaken he had a jacket with a logo for Haly’s Circus)
@@fnraw_flash2064 So in the Arkham Universe, Batman basically meets his first son after beating the crap out of him?
@@thelordofchaos-2009 there's no other "joe" in the batman universe
I can’t believe how good this game is so far and there is still more what a fantastic game man
This is such a great game where the devs actually planned and took the time to actually explore the story of the games including the fact that the made references to Arkham Origins Blackgate with Deadshot’s target poster, Joker Teeth, Penguin Cages, and Black Masks destroyable masks. I never thought they would include all the criminals from the case files in Origins. They absolutely cooked this up on a 5 star plate greatest thing we’re gotten since Arkham Knight
They HAVE to remaster Arkham Origins at this point
As they said, they did study the continuity of the Arkham games & it seems particularly Origins got the most display here which is great as it makes it a proper sequel to that game. Also I'd love a flat screen Origins sequel picking up from this alongside that remaster.
Arnold Wesker is definitely killing his cellmate and blaming it on “Woody”
6:53 Zatana must be around the same age as Batman if she’s already here
Yeah maybe if she had been a member of the arkhamverse justice league maybe she would have tried to use her magic or better yet contacted other dc magical heroes like shazam, john Constantine and dr fate to try and find away to free the mind controlled justice league from brainiac instead of killing because since brainiac is a creature of science and zatanna and the other dc magical heroes have magic because magic and science don't mix well together perhaps magic would have been the solution to freeing the league from brainiac control because when wonder woman used her lasso of truth on the flash it almost brought him out of brainiac brainwashing but the lasso of truth wasn't enough so if zatanna,dr fate and John Constantine used their magics maybe it would have freed the justice league without killing them
In the comics, they’re childhood friends, so it checks out
@@Vinesus I mean in the Arkhamverse as well too
@@ieuanrichards8840bro
Not to look down on you or sum but this is the same exact issue with EVERYTHING comics related. The writers involve characters only if they have an interest in the story.
How many times in movies, comics or animation did some characters faced world ending threats alone while the other heroes were just sitting on their asses
@@ieuanrichards8840 Holy shit dude, use some punctuation and spacing if you're gonna type that much lol
Thank you for your dedication to bringing us quality Batman Arkham content for over a decade. Playing not as Batman but as Matches Malone, Roger Craig Smith has distinctive timbre and intensity for each of them. I like it.
I like how they're including the murderers from the Case Files back in Origins. They had Andrew Carter (The venom thug one) as a phone number too.
32:44 Bro, that's Ian Chase! The mobster who killed Clarissa Rodriguez and Horace Riley in Crime Alley back in Batman Arkham Origins!
Batman was especially pissed at that guy.
1:37:24 I really like this line. It's almost like a 4th wall breaking moment where Alfred acknowledges it's been too long since we've had a brand new Arkham experience.
The amount of details and connections to Arkham Origin and Cold Cold Heart is so insane and this game is so amazing
Harleen showing her empathy before being corrupted by the joker is exactly what we needed to make SSKTJL’s Harley more digestible
It's also interesting that she may have started the creation of the Ventriloquist
0:00 It makes sense that Bruce would try to give first aid to his parents, after all Thomas Wayne was a doctor.
31:41 nice to see Ferris Boyle again after Cold Cold Heart
I appreciate when Leslie tells Bruce to speak to her with his real voice lol

arkham franchise releases so far
arkham asylum: 2009
arkham city: 2011
arkham origins: 2013
arkham knight: 2015
arkham vr: 2016
arkham shadow: 2024
big gap between vr and shadow, but it's nice arkham is back after so long
Nice. Don’t forget blackgate. It released on the Wii U and 3ds. Still counts in my book
This game is fucking awesome. I can't believe we got a new Arkham game and they just put it in VR. Seriously tempting but I will hold out for it to be on other VR platforms.
It's not coming to other platforms which is a shame cuz this game is goated
@@EternalPayne Fr fr, sucks that they're not gonna move it... for now but man it's literally the Arkham game we have wanted since Knight!

I remember him as a coordinator in origins multiplayer
Poor Leslie Thompkins. Can't imagine how she feels about both her boys Harvey and Bruce ending up working outside the law.
Love how she told Bruce to kill BOTH voices. Total mom power.
I can only imagine how she felt about Harvey's turn into Two-Face. It makes the other games mre tragic for me.
And I loved Leslie telling Bruce to quit the voices too. It's such a human moment for Arkham Batman & great display of acting for RCG.
@themadtitan7603 Yeah, but where is Leslie in the future arkham games? They didn't even kill her in this one
It's crazy that Harleen actually sounds like a decent psychiatrist in this game.
This game is a Arkham Game in every possible way. The developers did a phenomenal job.
You know there's very few adaptations of leslie and even fewer in regards to her helping Alfred raise Bruce. This is first adaptation that shows that she was literally his second mom just like Alfred was his second dad. It's honestly beautiful and really fits the arkham universe when you realize when don't really know the real background when the bruce besides the initiation dlc from origins but that was just one part. Seeing the origin of matches malone is also great cause it's showing how bruce as grown from origins as well but he's still pretty raw. The easter eggs so far is PURE arkham universe love. This is a true Arkham game regardless of VR. This is essentially a year 3 batman and we already get teases of robin too. And BIG SHOUTOUT to roger craig smith. Dude was able to give a matches voice, a batman voice, and a bruce voice and they're all distinct 👏🏾 AMAZING 👏🏾

Never thought I’d hear someone say “yeeted” in an Arkham game, ever. That’s crazy !
1:04:40, that incomplete phrase is part of the prophecy that Azrael told Batman in Arkham City. The "order dedicated to vengeance" Cyrus refers to is the group of Azrael's masters, the Order of St. Dumas.
I thought that what it was because the rune looks like the one you scan in Arkham City for Azrael's mission
When I saw the shop tutorial appear when talking to Joe, I got really scared thinking that the rest of this game would just be you as Malone in BlackGate, but of course Batman has a secret batcave in the catacombs of BlackGate. They def took a lot of inspiration from Asylum for this game and I love it
41:30 Is this a subtle jab at the Reeves’s Batman lol
I love hearing Harleen Quinzel showing empathy towards her patients. It's also interesting that she may have started the creation of The Ventriloquist
27:27 Calendar Girl from Batman: The Animated Series? These developers are not messing around with the deep references
Please upload more.
You are the only guy people want to watch play Arkham games.
I like how Falcone has claw marks from Catwoman on his cheek. Nice reference to the comics.
I wonder if this also happened in Year One of the Arkham Batman's continuity.
@@themadtitan7603your in my mindset about Arkham dude, love it!
@@themadtitan7603could be but Catwoman seemed to have become more active in year 3 of this universe so perhaps that during this version of Long Halloween she slashed Carmine when she figures out why she was abandoned as a child.
@@kwayneboy1524 That makes sense. I suppose in this universe she might've started out in Year 2 instead & became more active in Year 3 with the Blackgate takeover. So based on that I think she might've attacked Falcone shortly before/after Origins.
1:14:45 man, they're still making creeper references but they one let Ryder go full throttle with it! I bey Creeper DLC missions would've been super fun in any of the arkham games!
1:12:41 Quinzel inadvertently creating Scarface
I already know he’s gonna do a perfect no hit run of this video but he is the literal Batman of course
Walker super chill, starting things off with the fish puns. Honestly, I respect that composure.
we need part 3 bro, everyone else's combat is nowhere near as enjoyable as yours
All the lore details so far is awesome they really put the time and care into this game
At 1:04:17, Cyrus Pinkney was saying a line that coincides with the sacred Order of Saint Dumas. Only longtime fans of the Arkham series will know what it means.
Second I saw the rune itself I figured they were tied to Azrael/Order of Saint Dumas. Interesting way to tie it in to this game.
1:29 IT LOOKS LIKE GORO MAJIMA FROM YAKUZA GAMES
31:53 COLD COLD HEART REFERENCE
1:03:09 AND GOTHAM WILL BURN AND YOU WILL BURN TOO. ARKHAM CITY REFERENCE
I was thinking the exact same thing when he showed up, I was like "What the hell, Majima is in this game?"
2:04:24 masive respect to the devs for adding this lol
Where is Part 3 ???
This channel's owner might actually be the real Batman. He literally left us like him with 2 parts of gameplay.
Rat King has to be Deacon Black. The cult vibes, blackgate prison overlooking the statue.
Bro it's been almost four days, where's part 3?

Am I the only one who thinks that young Leslie Thompkins sounds like Morena Baccarin, the actress who played Leslie Thompkins in the 2014 show Gotham
I like that a lot of the inmates are people from the detective side missions from Arkham Origins.
That yamashiro guy lookalike Majima from Yakuza too 😂😂
Seems like they took it easy with the combat as it no longer has the free flow combat landing each hit on each enemy. That would probably cause some VR players to feel nauseous. Combat is still very good though.
The combat here is exactly like the other arkham games just in vr. Insane combos with having to use certain methods on harder enemy's.
(former) officer Branden working at Black gate?? I never expected to see his sour mug here
I have no way of playing this so I appreciate you for being so thorough in the gameplay I like the Easter eggs like zantannas posters and the flying Grayson's. Awesome vids🙏🏽
