Hello Big T! I have to thank you for showing me the newer version of my trailer! See I own a 2015 Forest River Cherokee Wolf Pup 16FQ, that is not a toy hauler, but a sweet little couple’s Travel Trailer we have had since new, totally trouble free an paid for! We have had may fun adventurous trips, the longest being a 4 month trip along the southern USA, starting at our old home in Massachusetts, where we sold our house after retirement. Then packed up our 2016 Colorado Ext Cab Z71,4x4, V5, with everything we would need for the planned trip. Then drove to Central Florida to sign papers to build a new home. Then while being built took that 4 month 4,500 miles trip from Central Florida as far west as Corpus Christi Matagorda TX Area and back, with lots of places in between. Just now I’m in the process or replacing the bathroom ceiling vent cover that just seems to have crumbled to pieces, a window latch and brake shoes and wheel bearing service. Then in January/February a planned trip to Los Vegas Hoover Dam. Only this time with a new Colorado Crew Cab W/T 4x4, loaded as such. Our small trailer is nothing special, it just has two requirements I wanted all along, a dry bath and walk around queen bed, with a high-quality mattress we need! Nice small an economical! at a CGVW of under 10,000 lbs. at an average on the last big trip of 13 mpg!
The manufacturers have finally figured out that we need to carry a lot of food but we like to cook OUTSIDE
The bunk slides forward to give more room
No it does not. :(
@@indypup2003 Darn, that was my guess too. Seems totally pointless as a bunk if it doesn't slide forward.
Big Truck Big RV Go out and try, then post answer please.
The bunk doesn’t slide, but it does lift up to access space below it.
Interesting. Just enough room for the Road King.
Black Label Wolf Pup's main feature over it's tradition "stick and tin" model is the laminated walls and frameless windows. The package is an up-grade option. That tie down you mentioned on the back is for pets.
Or locking up a quad or bike at night while your sleeping. Artic fox has something similar but it's a keyed cable lock
This is a dad and a sun camper! Bring his quads or whatever and go out riding!
In the crazy bunk Wolf Pup maybe the top bunk slides toward the middle (see the runners on the walls) for sleep time use. and tucks back toward the nose for daytime use.
I think you are correct, exactly.
I really like this layout. If that bunk just had a little more room, this would be a home run for my family of 3
May be wrong, but that top bunk looked like it would slide toward where you were standing to get more overhead room.
That's what I thought right off too but someone else said it doesn't slide forward, making it useless as a bunk.
The interesting tie down at the back for your pet.
I can tell you right now just by looking at it, that trailer is going to have a very serious wobble once it's loaded in the back, right behind the axle. Can't load it over the axle because that's where they put all of the appliances. Can't load it in front of the axle because that's where they put the bed. Can't load it over the axle because it only has one axle and it's in the middle, in front of the load. The trailer is going to be extremely unstable when loaded
Love the counter space in the kitchen.
This is a way too small rv for me but I’m watching because you are putting it out there and I might know someone that might need this -- in their future :)
I really like this one.
You can put little kids in the bunk. With no ladder and limited head space that's all that would work for sleeping. Otherwise ok for storage. The whole thing reads small young family trailer, hook it up to your SUV, ie family van and go out to your favorite RV area.
yup or a couple young dudes/couple/family with dirtbikes. I dig it
Other than the sideways bed I like it! I think a bigger one with a normal bed would be really cool. Love toy haulers.
Very cool. It wouldn't fit my bike but really liked seeing this different layout!
Maybe you're supposed to put the mattress over the sofa bed. Would make it way comfier anyway
1 quad maybe, and 1 bike .
The jayco pop up camper with the front platform more practical lighter and cheaper
That "bunk" over the bed really IS mystifying! Y'all Be Safe!
Maybe it's for a dog.
Raymond Schneider my parents used that as storage for atv helmets and gear then let the kids sleep on it at night. If your over like 10 years old you don't fit too well though! Ours was above the dinner table though! It was weird lol.
For hunters, it would make a good gun storage shelf.
Not sure, but try pulling the bunk towards you. It looks like the support is longer for a reason.
This is an interesting option for me. Would be great for my go kart and tools. The race tracks are usually hot with few options to get out of the heat and sun
The one axle design with the axle in the middle seems like it would be dangerous if you tried to load something without those rear jacks down it might tip up . Plus you would have an off-center load with one item on the left
scottey74 it should be hitched up most of the time you’re loading or unloading. And the space likely won’t allow for too much left-right difference in weight, or simply load like an educated adult.
That’s exactly what I’m looking for! But no small bump
I dont like a sideways bed, you have to crawl over your wife to get out of it
Diana Neal then you loose your space....you go from a 18 to a 21-22 '
Diana - I agree I am not a fan of the sideways bed.
O r she has to crawl over you. Might work out ok
@@daveb8736 😆
Thats what the tiny bunk is for!
That interesting tie down is a spot to leash your pet.
I like to see it open and loaded with a toy
Side "Tie Down" I think its either a Leash Anchor.. but have see people lock, cable or chain their toys to them as well..
It is leash lock for dogs.. all forest river has those
It even says Leash Latch right by it. 😂😂
Your the expert... it's a dog tie off......
A very nice little unit .
I definitely agree that needs two axles. And what tiny toy could you fit into that? A couple dirt bikes or a motor cycle? Needs another Axel indeed?
Pull the bunk mattress off & use it on the fold down "bed" that the table turns into. It's what I'd do anyway - much more comfortable.
Or just throw it down on the floor in the kitchen could squeeze another person in there
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls
Seems like this would be ideal for a couple dirt bikes and a couple of dudes! That doesnt sound right. LOL
that is a nice trailer. now if it was like 12-15 feet without the table and seats in the rear, take out the shelf bed on the top and those cabinets that are by themselves over the big windows to help save weight it be a little bit better for me.
Looks like a good hunting rig for 2 guys!
Jeremy Mccomas yes, and the shelf above the bed is for guns.
The TV mount is in that (apparently) narrow bit above the window, viewable from nowhere ? Except maybe the toilet if the door is open lol Why bother, just sit with your wifi ipad instead. Fail. Kind of like the bunk that seems to be useless except as a shelf (unless it slides forward for a little more vertical space).
Oh my that is tiny....I don’t think I could do it. We have 42’ Forest River and I still don’t have enough space some days 🤣
There would be some fumes in my camper but not the kind i want escaping if you know what i mean. :~)
Would be good for a wheel chaired person.
Agree toy haulers should not have a single axle. Also that model does not offer a raised deck. As much use as you get from the deck. You might as well get the 19RR.
A 1/2 ton pickup truck should be able to tow that trailer just fine.
Dave M nah a Kei truck would handle it nicely. :P
Dave M you can’t be serious right? The trailer is 5 thousand pounds. Not 15,000
It's designed to be hauled by the family SUV. My daughter's Chevy Suburban can handle that.
Ben Todd they weren’t being serious, just like I wasn’t.
If you're still at the forest river event you should check out the Vibe 33RK if they have it.
Was thinking maybe that matress over the bed goes on the dining set when transformed into a bed. Better than sleeping directly where people sit and way more comfortable. Its just stored over the main bed.
stonedcommander that was my thought exactly...
Oh like that little sink in bathroom. I was looking to see to add something. We just have toilet and tub shower in bathroom but i just wash hands in the tub.
It looks smaller inside than I thought it would. I like the sink in the shower idea, first I’ve seen that idea. The sink seems a little to high though.
I suspect the D ring at the back is for locking up your toys outside. The entry would be better if it were moved to the rear just ahead of the tire. Lower the front bed some to make the front top bunk actually useable. Bathroom needs a window or skylight.
The outside ring is advertised as a place to tether a pet to.
I've seen a similar setup from no bo primary difference is it's a dual axle and bed turn north/south.
If you park this right the bed can be north to south if that's what you want...
What do you think about the Wolf Pup 17JGBL?
I’d love that
Nice
Guys need large fridge for beer and don't cook much... 😆
Cool
Too small for me but looks Awesome
👌 good
Interesting but it doesn’t look like you could even fit a child’s 4wheeler in there. I know it’s hard to judge size on camera though.
Expensive cargo trailer
A CCC of 1240lbs won't let you haul much toy...assuming at least 1/2 of it will be for your normal cargo (water/waste, food, gear, clothing, etc.)
ok thats still 2 dirtbikes/single quad after the fact. I like these small ones, maybe its because I'm still young and motocycle/dirtbike/mtnbike focused, but seems great for what I would want to do with it.
I’m having trouble finding anything about this trailer I like. Weird design.
Does anyone know of this has enough room for a 4wheeler/atv? It looks like it'll fit a motorcycle just fine, but 4wheeler is questionable
Is the subscriber event in Rockport still happening in November? If so, what is the dates?
Most likely not. Just not enough time for planning unfortunately
That seems so oddly designed...looks like it won't fit a side by side. Maybe 2 quads. It's always the tie downs that limit it!
Couple dirt bikes would go great in that but I probably don't even want to know the price ?
$17,255 Haylet
Price?
Plenty of space over the bed for the owners blow up dolls.
I would never buy this. 1. It doesn't have double axles. 2. Bed situation stinks. 3. Doesn't have much room inside ( no slide outs). 4. Weighs to much for it's size. 5. Probably cost to much also for what you get. (Just guessing)
Needs a stove, bigger sink. Too small all around
CARPET hahahah DOG BUNK??
🎳🎮🤹🏿♂️
Not my favorite. I would just use the bunk as a large shelf. Bathroom is weird and awkward with that sink.
Yeah that sink in the bathroom is weird
:-)) :-))
Eh,. To small 👎
usaf vet lol you thumbs down just because it’s smaller than something you need? Do you not understand differences in personal choice, desire or need?
@@ALMX5DP
Hey man chill no disrespect here. I'm just saying it's to small for me. To each his or her own.
usaf vet don’t know about you, but to me a thumbs down indicates disrespect.
@@ALMX5DP You're just an emotional idiot. This is the exact type of trailer I'm looking to get, in no way was anything what dude said, was derogatory.
footbalr074 I never said it was derogatory... thanks for misinterpreting and calling me an idiot though, lol.
