    Thank you. This was very helpful. Is there a shortcut for popping up a quick note on a Samsung phone?

    Great Quick Notes tutorial! As you pointed out, you should save your quick notes to the cloud, but I've been shifting all my notebooks away from OneDrive because it seems like a pain the the tail when I want to do something as simple as deleting or moving a notebook. I'm now storing all my notebooks in my Sync cloud account (also best for privacy, since everything is fully encrypted on Sync's end and out of Microsoft's mitts as far as I know), and it's working great. I created an Inbox notebook, then set that as the default location for quick notes in the Save options. Everything syncs between machines just like it does with OneDrive, and it's dead-drop simple to delete and move notebooks if I need to. (I'm not a Sync shill, by the way, I just use it and like it. You could also do the same with Dropbox or any service that has local and cloud storage synchronization). The only drawback to moving away from OneDrive would be if others need to have access to your notebooks, but for solo users like myself, that's not an issue.

    I just found your channel, I am new to one note, I have my one note open to try and follow along with you, but it looks like I am using a stripped down version, I have one note for windows 10, but there is no file menu, how do I get the full version you are using?

    Hello Andy How did you add the house symbol to the name of the notebook?

    • @AndyPark365
      @AndyPark365  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hold the Windows key down and press either the period (.) or semicolon (;) key.. That will launch the emoji picker. You can then type "house" to search for the house emoji then add.

    There should be a way to do that on phones too, since most of the time ideas come when you're not in front of a PC.

    • @AndyPark365
      @AndyPark365  Год назад +10

      Yes there is a way to do this on the phone. The app experience is a little bit different between iOS and Android, you we can setup a quick capture to a default Notebook/section. I'll consider for a future video. Thanks.

      @@AndyPark365ideally a long press on the app icon would bring that up as an option. I still find myself using Apple notes as my quick capture inbox
