Thank You Andy. I have been using OneNote for a while, and your videos are always anticipated to allow be even more effective with my second brain. Keep up the good work
Love Onetastic! Well worth the upgrade to the paid version of you are a heavy user. The Where Am I breadcrumb navigation adding is really nice to show the full path of a doc to be shared with others too. I do love the calendar option that shows me where I (or others) have edited pages in a shared notebook.
Thanks Andy, so useful and easy to install, the OneCalendar is a game changer, I use multiple notebooks and different ways of inputting from different devices (email, clipping, etc etc) and the Calendar pulls them together. I also have a macro from IFTTT that creates a note when my Google Calender event finishes. 10 out 0f 10. Look forward to trying the other macros some time.
@@jasonchapman6318 Free version uses the Creation date, there is an option to use Modified date, but only if you have the Pro or Dev licence. $15 / year (Download & execute unlimited Macros, Basic Macro Editor for simple Macros, Batch File Import).
Your videos have been very helpful. I've been having a problem with OneNote desktop app since this past Monday (10/21/24). My notebooks won't sync. A lot of data isn't available in the ON desktop app NBs. The NBs are fully available on the web ON version. The web ON doesn't have the functionality of the ON desktop app, so having the NBs available on the web doesn't help me. This non-syncing problem is a very big issue for me. Do you have any advice on the syncing problem? Thanks.
Where could be the problem, when I install it and no Add-in in the home ribbon is there? I checked the version, I installed the correct one. Is it true, that Office 365 does not support Add-Ins? Then how are all these videos made?
The idea of macro-based tools is interesting. I wonder why Microsoft never included that feature in OneNote like they've done for decades with other Office products like Excel, Word, Access, even PowerPoint. They've always seemed to treat OneNote like an afterthought though, unfortunately.
Microsoft should be embarrassed that these are not automatically already in the basic software. Styling an optional extra? My goodness! Thanks for explaining all this - but my real question is - why was it necessary in the first place?
Yes and No, if you generate TOC in on your Desktop version (365 for me), then they will be on Windows and the links work when using windows on my PC, doesn't work with android app on smartphone. Not tries any of the other macros
Thank you so much for all your work Andy. I have fully embraced using OneNote as my "second brain" and find your videos to be extremely useful.
Me too thanks Andy, I implemented the system about 6 months ago and it’s working really well!

Thank you Andy. You translate the language of OneNote and Onetastic seamlessly
I’ve been a Onenote user for 10 years and have never heard of this add on. Thanks very much, going to download it now.
Andy this add-on is genius, thank you for sharing this videos.
You are a super star!!!
Cheers
Colin

I think if you edit a page a dozen times, it will appear in the cal just on the last date edited

thanks How do you have all of your notebooks listed on the left like that? I would love that. Instead of having to open one notebook at a time.

Andy's vedio is most valuable about how he thinks...
I noticed you are using a different version of OneNote. How did you get OneNote 2016 on your computer? Do you have a download link I could use?

Sadly, it is not available for Mac.

There is a 'TOC in ALL Notebooks' listed in the full Macro list
Do they work in OneNote online? And what is the future of this now that Microsoft wants to move away from macros?
Yes and No, if you generate TOC in on your Desktop version (365 for me), then they will be on Windows and the links work when using windows on my PC, doesn't work with android app on smartphone. Not tries any of the other macros
Wow. Where’s this been hiding
