Casual guy parachuting in the upper left portion of the video at 20 seconds lol
There were a lot of people falling from the sky that day ;)
@@awetuning While I have your attention, do you have any videos of a SS using ur track edition axle back exhaust?
@@that6thgen_2ss35 Negative. It will sound similar to the Track Edition Catback, but a bit louder as our x-pipes within the catbacks smooth out the tone.
@@awetuning Got it, I assume the same will be true for the touring edition cat back and axle back respectively?
Correct, @@that6thgen_2ss35. The Touring Edition features our 180 Technology to combat drone. Otherwise, it is non-baffled, straight-through design just like the Track Edition. Sounds nearly the same outside of the cabin, minus the drone-prone frequencies within the cabin.
I'm so upset you guys don't utilize the NPP. What a great sound.
I recently purchased the Touring catback with resonators and absolutely love it.
Nice deep smooth tone at idle and low RPMs no rasp.
Opening up the throttle it screams.
I was a bit nervous after purchase thinking I should’ve went track or just axle back as it’s a decent chunk of money for a mod that doesn’t really add much power.
But I’m absolutely in love with the system and highly recommend
Happy you're happy. 180 Tech within the Touring Edition is pure magic. All that power and sound without any drone. The lack of rasp is due to our precision x-pipe. Happy rippin'!
Does it drone ???
@@Fbody_123 Nope.
Is it still pretty loud at idle I’ve been contemplating on whether to get resonated or non
@@moufubuki5939 not loud but it has a deeper, smoother note. I think that’s what the xpipe and resonators show their magic
You will not be disappointed
I think I've decided on this exhaust for my 18 1LE once I get some Texas Speed headers. Should sound pretty good.
Did you post a video ?
@@rpgfeatures793 I haven't bought anything for my car yet.
@@brandonwalter8532 I figured you would since your post was 5 months ago lol
I love it! Thank you for an awesome exhaust system!!
did everyone see the guy parachuting at the beginning ? that was awesome
Sold. Thanks!
Installing mine soon! 🎉
Amazing exhaust!!
On my second system from AWE😎
Fantastic sounding exhaust, I just wish you guys offered a NPP option.
Many driver have overcome their valve-anxiety after experiencing the Touring Edition and it's drone-free nature while realizing it's very much controlled by throttle input.
@@awetuning so I'm debating on whether getting the axle back touring exhaust or the cat back touring Edition exhaust for my 2017 SS Camaro could you please explain the difference in the two also I now see that they are both available with NPP dual mode the axle back is around 1300 the Cat-Back is around 1900 this is my first sports car so I'm having trouble deciding
@@tbaby707 T, the exhausts are not valved whatsoever. The difference between the Touring Edition catback and axleback is the X-pipe/mid section. Our X-pipe refines the tone more than the stock mid section, but both feature our patented drone-canceling 180 Technology® (i.e. the Touring Axleback will not drone either.) If you go with the axleback first, you can purchase the mid section later to make a full catback if you wish.
@@awetuning hey thanks a lot man I'm looking forward to getting this set up been watching a lot of videos no one's really explaining how everything works but thank you so much
Sounds amazing! How does the sound differ between the CatBack vs AxleBack versions of this setup (assuming factory 2nd cat has been deleted)?
All factory emissions equipment are in place in the product videos. The axlebacks are big a rowdier than the catbacks due to our precision x-pipe. It smooths out the tone significantly. Good stuff!
Is there a video of the axleback? or does it sound similar to this catback?
Sounds similar to this, thought it will be a bit louder due to the factory mid section. Our precision-engineered x-pipe smooths things out significantly.
@@awetuning thanks for the reply! I've removed my secondary cats, will this cause it to Crackle and pop?
@@shadybisharat7256 Removing the secondary catalysts does allow more burble and pope, though our catbacks burble and pope nicely even with them in place.
@@awetuning excellent, thank you very much, plan on getting the touring axle back this summer!
You bet, @@shadybisharat7256. You're going to love it.
Is this going to cause a check engine light on a manual SS with the NPP values?
Negative, no CEL from NPP. Valve simulators are included in every kit for the AFM valves as well (if applicable).
Can you add the Performance Link Pipes to the non-resonated Touring catback set-up to eliminate the secondary cats.....or does the Performance Link Pipes only work with resonated catback setup?.
As well, I assume your Performance Link Pipes have hole for the O2 sensor? Thanks
You can pair the PLP to either catback. Just up to you on how rowdy ya want it. The PLPs have one o2 bung.
@@awetuning thanks for the reply. Can you please confirm on the PLP having the O2 sensor port. One of the PLP should have a port as it attaches to the primary cat and the O2 sensor is right behind the primary cat. Thanks
@@Raven77844 Yes, correct.
What is the difference between the resonated and non-resonated catback?
In-line resonators to refine the tone by cutting rasp. If you are going headers, go resonators. If not, non-resonated is great!
Will the catback system work on a NPP where the secondary cats have been removed? I have seen quite a few cat back systems that actually bolt up to the primary cats and take the secondaries completely out of the system. Im assuming from your answer to another question that your cutback system does not bolt up this way. If they don't, what would i need to do to bolt your catback system into my system where I have removed the secondary cats?
Our exhausts are designed to mate to the factory secondaries. If your headers have provisions to make to the stock exhaust, our exhaust will mate to your headers.
@@awetuning i still have the full stock exhaust with the exception of the deleted secondaries. I have pipes welded into the system where the secondaries were.
if i would have camaro 6.2 i would just said "shut up and take my money"
How much louder is this than stock
It's about 20% louder than NPP with the valves open. Much better tone, though.
would tuning be necessary for non-resonated? whats the point of having non-resonated?
No tune required to run any of our systems. The Non-Resonated Touring Edition is the golden ticket configuration. The resonated option is for those who wish to run the Performance Link Pipes or anything aftermarket upsteam (before the catback) to help with volume.
last question, do you offer anything that keeps the A10 afm happy? i dont want to tune it out and void warranty.
Not at this time, unfortunately. All of our catbacks are valve-less.
Can you have the non resonated catback set-up with the Performance Links Pipes? (to eliminate the secondary cats).....or does the Performance Links only work with resonated setup?. Thanks
What the difference between resonated and non resonated?
We recommend resonated for aftermarket headers or for drivers with stock headers that prefer it super smooth. The resonated mid pipes take a bit of the edge off the exhaust note.
So this touring sounds louder than the track edition , am I right?
Track Edition is slightly more rowdy than the Touring Edition, biggest difference is that Track will be louder and more noticeable in the cabin at cruising speeds. If you are concerned with cabin comfort, I would go with Touring.
@@awetuning Who would be concerned with cabin comfort ??? NOT ME. Thank you for clarifying that , will go with the Track edition!!
@@awetuning Before making my final decision, is there a big sound difference with the track catback vs track axle back? which is louder ?
@@noelbarrera5674 They're both aggressive, as one could expect. The catback replaces the factory mid section with our X-pipe which smooths the tone out tremendously compared to factory. Axleback has more bite/edge, whereas the catback has more of a full bodied tone.
@@noelbarrera5674did you get it? How do you like it?
Does this work with the 2021 1LE NPP?
These systems do not utilize mechanical valving like the factory NPP but will work with NPP or Non-NPP cars, with or with out AFM Valves.
Is this the cat back system with the secondary cat delete????? Also if you have the db ratings on it that would be amazing!
Secondary cats are in place in this video.
