It's beautiful! If you're pressed for space the apples, oranges and onions don't need to be refrigerated.
Thanks for sharing! Here are some tips I’ve learned along the way:
Strawberries aren’t recommended to be cleaned until ready to eat because they rot quicker BUT I like them on the ready so I’ve learned to soak them for an hour in very cold water, rinse and dry them and layer them I n single layers in a fairly airtight bin with paper towels between each layer. This keeps my strawberries fresh for days, even a couple weeks.
Onions should never be refrigerated. They should be stored in a cool dry place for freshness, longevity and quality.
Leftover green salad can be stored in a ziplock bad with paper towels lining the outside (to collect moisture). Change paper towels out daily for Uber fresh salad days later.
When greens are freshly washed they can be zapped in the spinner to remove all excess moisture, then stored in a large plastic bin
My salad greens last for 9 days or more by using this process (without) paper towels.
@@robyndismon394 I love that! I don’t usually pre wash my lettuce before making salad but this sounds like a viable way and I’m definitely going to have to give it a try. Using paper towels in out green salad storage is a must for us because I use cucumber and tomatoes and the paper towels keep the moisture from browning the lettuce. Thanks so much!
What works great for me for the fresh herbs is I put them in a glass jar and fill water quarter of the way and then put a gallon size bag over then and zip it at the bottom just to the bottom of the jar. It works great keeping them fresh!
Yes I do this to! Makes a huge difference!
For the herbs, I store them like that and then put a plastic produce bag over them, kind of like a greenhouse effect and it really works. Good luck!
Love how this turned out! I like the idea of using dividers in the drawer! Also a great idea to portion out things into Mason jars! Thanks for sharing!💗
Can we talk about the back of her hat? The design and style that allows a ponytail and looks great 😃😃
Looks great. I store our fresh strawberries in mason quart jars, they last longer. I love the yogurt cups, I’ll be doing that. Thank you for sharing. 💜
Ohh I’m going to try that! I feel like strawberries go so quickly!
I also store strawberries in mason jars and they stay fresh so much longer!
Washed our unwashed? Definitely going to try this!!
@@andreasmith8213 unwashed
Really
Salad spinner for berries! So genius!
Top the herb jars with an upside down bag (I have successfully used Ziploc and reusable Stasher styles) and change the water every few days. I only put about an inch or two of water. Fresh herbs typically keep 10-14 days this way!
We must have the same refrigerator, I just watched your freezer organizing video and our freezers are same. Yes, it’s definitely a smaller refrigerator than I’m use to, so it’s hard to organize. I like how you moved the shelves around to make the middle shelf taller. I’m going to try this. Love the little dividers for the drawer.
How I keep my herbs fresh is by growing them in pots on my back patio. It doesn’t get fresher than that and saves a ton of money. 😉
I love how the fiidge came out. I have never seen anyone cut a watermelon like that before. I will be doing it that way from now on. Thanks be Blessed
Thank you for this video. You have helped me find drawer dividers and containers for storing prepped foods in my fridge. Love the yoghurt jars, great idea. Cannot wait to get started!
Take advantage of the vertical space by stacking your soda on the top shelf. Place the butter on top of the cream cheese and you will have room for some eggs.
I love all of your videos but this one is my FAVORITE!!!!
LOVE the rainbow of produce. And I need to start putting the applesauce in containers like that for school lunches...so much better.
Yum! I always place a small bamboo cloth or paper towel in the produce container too.
You're my favorite RUclipsr and you inspire me to be better organized (and even enjoy organizing) and to be better prepared food-wise.
I use those 3 part containers for fruit aswell, mostly berries and pineapple. With Juicy fruits Like pineapple or Melon it is much nicer than using Others containers where the Juice sits on the bottom.
Btw i am Not criticizing the way you can but you could definitely think about buying a pressure canner and canning complete meals, i would Love to See you doing that. 👍
I love the yoghurt cups and how clean the fridge turned out
love the music, very classy and relaxing... great video. thanks
Your frig is so beautifully organized. That is the best way to eat healthy by having fruit and veggies prepped and easy to grab. I believe that you are preserving your fresh herbs correctly in water.
I love how you placed empty leftover containers in there! So smart! The fresh herbs in jars with water I would take a step further and place them inside a long, skinny rectangular container so they don’t get knocked over when you pull out other items.
Thank you for the motivation , am now cleaning out my fridge. New subbie 👍. We use cilantro a lot what I do is cover with a plastic bag usually I use the ones from the market and just cover & tie it half way leaving the stems out I feel it lasts longer.
Seriously love you videos! You truly motivate me to cook and to clean!
You should see my refrigerator, it’s those old white fridges that have a door on top for the freezer and the fridge on the bottom. ☹️ I wish so bad it goes out so we can get a new one, 😳😳😂😂😂. I love your organizing videos, inspires me to clean and organize.
Looks amazing. I love it. I must try the fruit keepers. Ty for sharing.
This looks gorgeous- Bravo! I also do the water trick with baby carrots and they last so much longer.🌵💜
Love how healthy you all eat!!!! And all your tips!
As always, it looks great! 💕
Looks awesome & healthy!
Snapware brand glassware with snap on lids water tight lids is what I use to store produce. Berries last for weeks if you dry them after washing and before putting in the container. Only thing I use.
Love this...going to give those produce keepers a try! I’m dying to know though...what happened to the eggs and coffee? They never made it back into the fridge. 🤷🏻♀️
💕🍉🍓🫑🧅🥦🥒🍏🍎🍋🫐🧀🥚🥓🧈🍅🥬I really like your refrigerator organization! Thank you for sharing. 😀
Again, you inspire me so much!
Your videos are just SO inspiring!! I love the turntable idea and am going to do that, too - I have those dividers, too and am going to redo my veggie drawer. One of my sons LOVES guacamole and I buy the individual servings so it doesn’t get brown and I have a long plastic bin that I “file” those into and it is great! I also get my eggs from a friend who has chickens and there are plastic stackable bins which hold 18 eggs each and have lids- love those! I also have another of the long skinny containers ( like the guac one) and that has all the whipped cream and coffee creamers. 😊
This is fantastic! I need to get the individual guacamole for my girls! I kind of forget about it ☺️
@@adalineshome They are not cheap, but he has some food sensitivities and guac is healthy and he loves it so I make room in the grocery budget for it! :)
When you store fresh herbs in water in the fridge make sure to put a plastic bag or something over the top. This keeps it from wilting.
Hey Adeline! Here today! Loving your videos always so satisfying and motivating!
A single home grown parsley plant produced enough to allow me the equivalent of your store-bought bundle every other week. 2-3 plants would likely be enough and they are gorgeous when the finally bolt and flower at the end of the season.
Don’t forget to change out your celery water every few days because of bacteria, with berries I put a paper towel on top for condensation. And Walmart/Amazon has nice White lids for mason jars that don’t seal but screw on and look so nice. I love organized fridges. Thanks for Sharing.
Ohh thanks for the tips!!
oh thanks for the waterchange tip, I hadnt thought about that, off to change mine now!
I love those white mason jar lids!
Looks amazing! When it comes to the fresh herbs my husband always take them out of fridge and put them in some fresh water and that usually help keeping them fresh longer. But the herbs are then planted in some soil in small plastic pots. So you put the pot in the water. That’s how they are sold in Sweden 🇸🇪😊 Thank you for sharing and God bless!
Hi, do you store herbs two ways, in water and in soil? The storing in soil is interesting.
@@vi9763 When you buy fresh herbs they are planted in soil from the store. You put the whole thing in water.
@@songsofsofia
Thanks:)
Great job! 🙌🏾👍🏾🥰
It looks so pretty 💜💜💜💜💜💜
Great organizing
I recently found your channel and look forward to your videos, always budget friendly, and you find the cutest stuff. You probably have a canning funnel but I never see you use it in videos. Walmart Mainstays canning funnel is my go to when filling Mason jars, and only $1.97.
For fresh herbs diced up with chicken broth and freezed in ice cube trays good for soups and stews.
New subbie alert!!
Enjoyed.
Love it
Your fridge is beautiful and practical too! UBER GOALS!!!
A friend recently told me the original Tupperware brand containers keep produce good a lot longer.
Love your organising videos. How are the new storage containers going for the fruit
Thank you, I uploaded Fetch and I already have a lot of points.
🤣🤣 that's exactly what my cousin said to me about my fridge where does the leftovers go but mine actually go in the garage refrigerator LOL
Eggs? Looks awesome!
For herbs, wet a paper towel wrap around the bottom and put in a plastic bag.
Love it! Do you have a link for the jugs used for the milk, hoping it wasn't an oversight but I didn't see it in your links.
It looks great, but where is the protein meats?
How have those produce keepers worked for you? I've been using Rubbermaid's freshworks line and I have certainly noticed a difference! Curious about the ones you used, because they're much cuter 😅
For fresh herbs--if you get some that are sad, I usually trim the ends about 1/2" or more depending on how tall your jars are (like you would for flowers), and then soak them in my salad spinner filled with cold water until they perk up like new! Then I'll spin them dry and keep them in mason jars filled with water and a plastic bag loosely covering them like a tent. Lasts for weeks!
Great idea to use the salad spinner for your berries!
I want to ask what kind of refrigerator do you have? You say it’s not that big but it definitely has way more room than mine 😅 I’m hoping to upgrade in the next few years and I love that yours has nice open shelves and that big drawer is awesome 😍
Love your videos 💗
There is another great channel. That lady shows how she keeps all fresh produce lasting for weeks. It's called "The Cross Legacy". Them methods work very well 👌
Hello! I have used the herb pod and it does work. However, it is very small and sometimes the herbs don't fit
Hey Adaline 😀
another triumph! I
I am new to your channel and just love what you do
Re the herbs stored inside the fridge maybe better left out on counter so they can photosynthesise ?
I’ve been so inspired by you already
I am currently binge watching like a Netflix series 😁
Awe!! Thank you for watching! You may be right about keeping the herbs on the counter.. I’ll have to look into it ☺️
QQ what is the font on your see thru stickers from your Cricet ? Been searching for it in your links
I love it ! Gonna have to get a Cricet now 😆
Some herbs like rosemary and basil if you leave them on the counter in water they can start growing roots. Then you can plant them in a pot and have your own herb plant.
I use mason jars my fruit lasts for 3-4 weeks
I love the back of your hat, where did you get it?
Can you demonstrate your water bubbling machine?
💜💜💜💜💜
If you are going to store celery in water then I wouldn't waste one of your draining containers to do it. Any container will work, it doesn't even have to have a lid if it is all submerged. Save your containers with the drain tray for something that can benefit from that feature.
Everything looks great BUT… onions should be stored in a cool (not refrigerator) dry space like the pantry. Other than that ✅
Where is the other half of the watermelon? That's my biggest problem with watermelon. It takes up so much room when I cut the first half...because the second half also has to go in the fridge!!
I've been using fetch for years but the one thing that sucks about their e receipts function is that it is only available for ios and not Android. I do 90% of my grocery shopping with Walmart pick up and because I have android I can't connect my e receipts to fetch and miss out on TONS of point opportunities. I've been waiting for 2 years for them to have the function available for android 😕
I tried the squeeze bottles to and it isn’t working for me either
Hey 👋 why do you wash fruit with vinegar?
just curious, do your girls drink milk? didnt see any in the fridge.... thanks
ok girl...spill the beans. Are you back with your hubby. Saw him in the reflection of the fridge. Love your videos sooo much. You are such an inspiration to me. xxxxxxxxxxxxx
You mentioned preparing veggie omelets. Where do you store your eggs?
Right now I have a bunch of water glasses eggs, so I have them in my long term pantry and I’m slowly working through them while we wait for our chicks to be old enough to lay ☺️
Where is the water container from?
I can't find your video on how you make the yogurt. Can you direct me? Thanks
She has a food channel maybe it's there
Where are the eggs you are making your omelettes from?
I just found you! Your grandma was visiting us and told us about your channels!
Oh fantastic!! Thank you for watching ☺️
It’s the empty water dispenser for me.
Do you keep your eggs in the pantry?
I was just going to ask where her eggs are? Also where is the gallon of milk?
I was wondering about the eggs too!
👍🌹💜
Why did you put empty bowls in the fridge????
Where r the eggs?
👋👋👋❤️❤️❤️❤️💋
Blessings to you. I have a small request. Could you please find some better music to put with your videos? That music is horrible. Thank you!
this looks so unhealthy. sugary creamers, sodas, string cheese…? what are you eating?
Hi beautiful, I have been using fetch rewards for some time now and I don’t have any friends on my account. How can I add you?
