@@ashleygatewood one of the reasons why setting your sights on Christ is so important is that it is not achievable. @@onikillah9596 I think he's referring to virtues as the highest goals. Ya in a way maybe he's saying everyone whether Christian or not should hold dear to the highest qualities of which he applies to God, like morality truth justice, etc. Idk he really needs concrete examples of what he's saying.
Why would we aim at something lower than the best goal we could imagine? Maybe the answer is in "imagine" because the society let build glass cellings above our heads and even if we can see through, we have to break them one by one and it's not not everybody who is given the strengh to do that. Can we all succeed? With a balanced society and more equalities: yes. And listening to JBP is a way to break some of those cellings.
As with the brain of eternal wisdom, we are part of that which is God God thought about creating the heavens, and the Earth quantum field manufactured direction into action
1:19 leadership, Moses’ calling 7:03 on fire but not burning, -Daniel in the fire because he was given a task that came with persecution but as long as he stuck with God he would not burn -Though we are continually dying we are also continually being made new -Jesus promises death and persecution but if they stuck with Him they would never die -Dying/burning/decaying in flesh but being made new/alive in spirit/mind -gold ore on fire but if it stays in the fire only the impurities will burn away and what’s left is pure -Isaiah encounter with God is humiliating, you cover yourself and admit your inadequacies/shame but through the fire they are wiped out and you come out having shed yourself/pride/flesh and your left with only God/purity -Moses had just shed his worldly/prideful title as prince and has spent 40 year becoming humble as a shepherds and now comes this bush on fire. If pride come ma it is an exact opposite. When Moses struck the rock it was so wrong because the rock was Christ and instead of speaking to it and asking for provision (bread of life, living water) as God commanded him (ask, seek, knock) He struck the rock (pierced by our transgressions) but the rock still provided (forgive them for they know not what they’ve done). Christs humility/piercing/sacrifice was done by Moses/us and extends mercy through time for those who look to Him for life (bread/water) in faith. (Moses did not know this because it had not been revealed to him but the secrets that have been held since the foundation of the earth was built have been revealed to us through the Spirit through the study of His Word. So Moses was saved by faith in God and looking to what God provided for life and we are saved by the same faith in God and looking to the same thing, who God provided for life, Himself, Jesus. This is the revelation that God built the church upon, this is the rock, Jesus is the answer to all of Gods promises) 8:46 the consequences of listening seriously is a closer/deeper/authentic/genuine relationship being formed, more warmth, more trust, (but you have to be willing to reveal to the same extent and they have to be as seriously listening)

I am 100% the person he describes when he says “bitter, cynical, faithless, and nihilistic” but there’s nothing I have found so far that helps me change it. I guess I’m one of the unlucky humans.
Self-inquire and answer honest, ask why on every answer, run, work, chop wood, run harder. Try to unlock the one who sits deep inside.
You gotta find the will to change inside you. All these RUclips lectures and self help books are like fingers pointing to the moon. They can help show you where to look but don't concentrate on the finger too hard or you'll miss it.
You got this
its not random. but its not comprehensible (ie. its not 'cause and effect.')
or .. to put another way .. our destiny is our calling ..

Where can I get a Harvey Dent jacket as cool as that?
Well, what IS that "highest goal" that he was talking about?
Ya it's abstract he needs to give concrete examples
@@hatersgotohell627 yeah I totally agree. I think he leaves it out on purpose, because if he made a religious statement, e.g. "The highest goal of human life is perfection/sainthood" (as proclaimed by the Church) he would lose popularity.
@@onikillah9596 I think he's referring to virtues as the highest goals. Ya in a way maybe he's saying everyone whether Christian or not should hold dear to the highest qualities of which he applies to God, like morality truth justice, etc. Idk he really needs concrete examples of what he's saying.
@@hatersgotohell627 hmm yes perhaps you are right...
I just ate some popcorn.
Okay so off subject, but I love his suit…. It’s thought provoking? In a weird way…. 😅 like is it just me who noticed?
Peterson has an immaculate sense of fashion
I think it’s odd.
Its heaven and hell suit. Blue part is made of lamb wool, red is from goat.
Anyone know the source?
Why would we aim at something lower than the best goal we could imagine? Maybe the answer is in "imagine" because the society let build glass cellings above our heads and even if we can see through, we have to break them one by one and it's not not everybody who is given the strengh to do that.
Can we all succeed? With a balanced society and more equalities: yes.
And listening to JBP is a way to break some of those cellings.
Why JP quotes so much from the Bible? Just curious.
Is this from Rotterdam meet?
Jordan Peterson as Two-Face in Batman 2??

Harvey 2 face was the inspiration for the suit
Peace to all ❤🎉😂
Become a monster and learn to control yourself. This is the goal.
As with the brain of eternal wisdom, we are part of that which is God God thought about creating the heavens, and the Earth quantum field manufactured direction into action
The burning bush was acacia /DMT

Is this Bulgaria?
Yes, it sound as the event on the forth of May in Sofia.
1:19 leadership, Moses’ calling
7:03 on fire but not burning,
-Daniel in the fire because he was given a task that came with persecution but as long as he stuck with God he would not burn
-Though we are continually dying we are also continually being made new
-Jesus promises death and persecution but if they stuck with Him they would never die
-Dying/burning/decaying in flesh but being made new/alive in spirit/mind
-gold ore on fire but if it stays in the fire only the impurities will burn away and what’s left is pure
-Isaiah encounter with God is humiliating, you cover yourself and admit your inadequacies/shame but through the fire they are wiped out and you come out having shed yourself/pride/flesh and your left with only God/purity
-Moses had just shed his worldly/prideful title as prince and has spent 40 year becoming humble as a shepherds and now comes this bush on fire.
This is the revelation that God built the church upon, this is the rock, Jesus is the answer to all of Gods promises)
8:46 the consequences of listening seriously is a closer/deeper/authentic/genuine relationship being formed, more warmth, more trust, (but you have to be willing to reveal to the same extent and they have to be as seriously listening)
Destiny Delveccio from high school??!!?
