Had a hell of a lot of fun with this game. All the mechanics seemed convoluted during the teach but worked really well together as the game went along. It did feel like a bit shit when someone managed to get the perfect card that fit exactly what they did all game and they had no idea that card was coming. Thanks for the review!
This game is one of my new favorites. The solo mode is very good as well! People complain about the water level mechanism. I love it. Adds a little More depth
Mention of tulips reminds me of a classic rude joke from my school days - ‘what’s better than a rose on your piano? tulips on your organ’. They don’t tell ‘em like that anymore.
I’m not sure what you mean by passing? There’s no passing, you just keep going until end game is triggered. Maybe you simply meant moving up the calendar? This ties into the water level: increasing water speed, earning points, controlling the pace of the game for better calendar rewards all while taking efficient turns. I agree though, the water levels part feels a little bit undercooked 🤷♂️

What’s worse the earth hitting the sun? Mercury hitting Uranus…
Another classic. Uranus never gets old as a joke punchline
Great review!
that's I praise. I'll have to take a look
