I've watched so many videos and yours is the only one that actually got me somewhere lol. I still can't do a granny square though, it just turns into a circle. But it's the best circle I've gotten so far :)

You need to make sure your doing 3 2 3 in the corner and turning ect, the corner is the crucial part making it square like x

I didn't know how I kept going wrong and producing lopsided squares. I followed three instructors before you, watched carefully, but kept making the same mistake even though I was imitating the videos. THEN I FOUND YOU, and now my squares look square! Thank you! (I still don't know what I was doing wrong, but whatever it was, it's gone.)

I taught myself to crochet 10 months ago. I got so carried away that 2 months later I had made a lovely blanket using
    about 100 granny squares.
Today I thought I'd make some more, but I simply couldn't remember how to do them.
I watched a few other videos and I was always getting stuck going around the corner.
But after watching your video, I've done it. It was easy to follow and very well explained.
    THANK YOU

I was making just beanies but decided it was time to get variety to what I make. I learned star granny squares before an actual granny square- The star granny square taught me that there is more than single crochet and chains. Im currently on the 3rd layer. This is definitely a beginner friendly video.
(I am making this while wearing my blue bucket hat with a star on top :) )
