Can’t wait to ride it again once it’s been retracked! That things gonna be so smooth
0:33 y’all see that wood shaken….
It’s been that way since I was a kid and I’ll be 40 in 44 mins
This ride is extremely underrated, it's not that rough and it actually has some good airtime. Now if we want to talk about bad wooden coasters how about we talk about the old Hurler, man that ride was awful
This ride is aids
@Mastnaer Ceef agreed just went last week. I should’ve known not to go on this ride because I saw the support beams move as the rollercoaster went over it. I’ve with the hurler at Carowinds.
@@sophiepeoples4813 Went last Sunday. Felt like I got my ass whooped by Mike Tyson.
Grizzly really does need some reparations cause I had so many bruises from this ride. Like he said too. This ride felt like I was about to de rail my self and die
When I rode it my head shaked violently
dude where have you been ive missed you
THANK GOD THIS IS GETTING RETRACKED
Lol im one of the ppl re tracking 😂
This is the best ride in the park by far. Love this ride!!
your trolling
@@kawazy9528 Def not. I love the Grizzly! Ever since I first rode it m felt like I was gunna fly off it. Always loved it
How is is getting retracked
Just road it today. Still hurts like always lol
Nahh this ride hurts bad
FRRR!! Dude I was there yesterday and rode the Grizzly and that motherfucker gave me a crazy ass headache for an hour and a half. Ruined my first hour at the park bruh. Those turns and just going straigh was bumpy asf and just had your head bouncing all over the place.
Facts
Yeah for it being “the smoothest ride around”
I just finished going to Kings Dominion and this was one of the rides I went too. And trust me. It hurts.
This ride was great 30+ years ago. It also used to be pretty much out of view because of trees, so you didn’t know what to expect until you rode it.
My brain was getting knocked around so bad, i ended uo with a minor concussion. I don't remember it being so bad, but I'll never ride this again.
It really isn't a bad layout. It just needed a bit more speed. With the retrack that last part is going to be a blast. This ride will go from being meh to a airtime packed machine
This ride is terrifyingly amazing! I am a small woman, who weighs not even 90 pounds, so the lap bar didn't go down all the way as I am smaller than the smallest tick. This was really exclusive to this ride, as most other rides these days do infact go lower. So the second I sat on that seat and the ride started moving, my fight or flight senses went off! I had to put my legs straight and hold on to dear life, so much that my hands hurt afterwards. But, even though I feared I was going to fall out, I had a GREAT time and went on it again, just to get that same buzz. I've never been faced with the fear of death like that before, but might I say, it was amazing!
I’m so glad Sharp Productions is back in action
I used to work at this ride in the early 2000's, it was rough then as it is now.
Beautiful picture quality,so clear the whole time.. Can’t wait for your Halloween videos this year hopefully. Always my favorite
Thanks! We are excited to get back to Halloween also! 👻🥳
So glad to see this coaster is around! I remember back in the day (80's) waiting in line and watching the frame sway when the car came around, thinking eventually it would break...yikes!
That is the most people I seen in that Queue in Years!!!!!
First coaster I ever rode. So awesome
LONG TIME NO SEE
I got to ride it for the first time yesterday and I enjoyed it
This ride is so bad it’s good. You feel like you’re about to fly out and die with how janky and rough it is
Can confirm, this coaster is right of the sketchometer.
Idk, when o ride it it’s not that bad it’s actually still great but that’s just me
At 31 seconds, seeing the frame shake like that was kinda sketchy. I rode this coaster over 30 years ago. I'm surprised it's still operating, but it was a fun ride. When you went into the tunnel you thought you'd get decapitated. I really love the setting though, surrounded by all the trees. Virginia is a really beautiful state.
Thank you I thought I was the only pne who noticed, that's definitely not one I would personally ride out of pure safety concerns.
Underrated coaster, runs incredible at night.
This has the potential to be a really good again if they continue the retracking. For now it’s a jackhammer machine.
🎶🎶🎶🎶Why does it hurt so bad *whitney Houston voice*😂😂😂 never riding again
one of my fav woodies
This coaster shakes a lot. 😲
IMO that’s the best part of the ride since I like shaky woodies
The track shakes when you are on it. Its scary
Single worst wooden coaster I've ridden. I've never experienced so much pain....
Rode 3rd row front car. After the first turn the vertical jolts were so bad I swear my spine was cracked.
At 2:43 in particular is a nasty section
Weak
Rode this coaster last week and the Grizzly is one rough ride. Nice footage!! Thanks for sharing.
theres a crick in my neck today cuz of one
@@Collision_Panic that’s not good!!
@@vafunseekers i know.
@@vafunseekers worth it though.
OH, MAN THUS RIDE WAS FUN, I RODE IT. IT SHAKING, BUT I LIKED IT. ONE IF MAH FAVORITES!
Grizzly is like a moderated version of the Beast at Kings Island
never again i will get on this coaster unless it gets rmcd
2:00 please do not touch the rail!
Awesome I love it.
May I use this for a review? I will give you full credit.
I went on this ride just yesterday actually and lemme tell ya, watch out for the back crack at the end
I wanna get on this ride do they still have it at kings dominion?
Yes, it’s very fun. I went a couple weeks ago and it’s worth it, it’s still at kings dominion
I don't know why, but the roughness adds to the fun for me. Like, it's rough, but it doesn't hurt. I also really like the layout. Now if they could fix the exit of the second turnaround, that would be greatly appreciated.
How does it not hurt?? I literally felt like I was gonna get whiplash from it when I rode this piece of junk in 2019. That was definitely my first and LAST time riding this.
@@VeeTHis Besides the transition out of the second turnaround, It just doesn't cause me pain, its rough, but it's far from unbearable for me. I rode Wildcat at HP in 2020, and it was way rougher, and way more painful than this.
Hi
I thinking they should put the hand rails a little bit farther out so riders won't hurt themselves by touching the railing when the coaster is moving. Usually coaster manufacturers these days have safe standards so riders won't get hurt while riding a roller coaster. Steel coasters these days have wider staircases so riders won't try to reach out and touch the hand rail and get hurt.
I think kids should stop being so stupid. I think it's rediculas to try and child proof the world. Kids need to learn about how thing will kill you if you you do stupid sht. Also it is rediculas that if that kid did get hurt the park would be liable even though they tell you over and over and over and over and over to keep your hands in the train people ignore the rules and at that point whatever happens to you is your own fault. If I was at Mc Donald's and shoved my hand in the fryer should mcdonalds be liable even though it is common knowledge that putting your hand in the fryer will cause a injury. We need to have a common sence law that when somebody gets injured doing somthing that should be common sence like idk not sticking your hand out of a coaster train or tripping while breaking into somebody home, or falling into a fountain because you were texting and not paying attention. Sick if all these lawsuits that make it impossible for small new small parks to open because of the high insurance rates due to morons like that kid.

Bro I went last week that shit unsafe as fuck
Its wobbly, has missing pieces of wood, and you cna touch the railing on the the side the entire time.
Its hella ruff
Halloween horror night 2021
🙌
@@sharpproductions but why no Halloween horror night 2020
This ride permanently damaged my grandpas back and made my neck hurt for a week.
😂😂😂
Basically both the Wilde Beast at Canada's Wonderland, and The Bush Beast at the former Wonderland Sydney.
Besides the tunnel[s] , is this grizzley a mirror image of California's great america grizzly or a totally different track/ride?
They are both the 1960s Coney Island Wildcat layout. I’m not sure which is mirrored vs the original design.
Virginia’s Wild Beast, by the look of it.

Why do you not have Twisted Timbers?
When was this filmed?
It's pretty interesting how 2 riders got yelled at for touching the hand rail on Grizzly. I've never heard anyone get yelled at for touching the hand rail before on any roller coaster.
U don't even think that the grizzly is fun, its too jerky and too rough its not fun it just hurts
I was there today
A ton of wasted slow turnarounds as if it was built in the late seventies, Of course that was before computer visualizations etc. it looks like it needs a full revocation. Very boring using modern standards. I rode the judge roy scream at six flags over Texas two years ago. A relatively boring old out and back coaster from late seventies. It was so rough I vowed never again. I can only imagine the uncomfortable ride of the grizzly
Love from india ❤
Where are you from
I used to remember I was 9 years old and I got in that ride I always thought it was a small ride and all until I realized it was a roller coaster
This made me dizzy to watch from the shaking...must be a ROUGH ride lol
Just looking at the old rotten wood I just verified I’m never getting in this
That doesn't mean nothing I went on it
At what timestamp is there visible wood rot? Spoiler alert: there isn't any.
Kings Dominion Bid Farewell to Grizzly
i wish grizzly was as good as the one at california's great america
The Grizzly needs a much needed RMC redo like The Hurler or GCI needs to redo the wooden aspect. Maybe if RMC does it, the name could be The Iron Grizzly! LOL..... right now it's very rough.
That would kinda be stealing the name from Iron Gwazi at BGT
This coaster is horrible
Tell us where the bad coaster touched you. . . Oh your spine? Yes that sounds right.
@@sharpproductions it has zero Thrills, unlike your mother!
@@sharpproductions LOLLL
@@chrislane8603 OMG YALL FUNNY
Don’t let them hate on you I agree to this roller coaster is horrible I wrote it I had neck pain for exam week! Seriously I had to get a full massage package and a chiropractor it’s too shaky and what’s your neck around this roller coaster sucks ass
I almost fell off my seat unbuckled, Worst part I past out to!!!
My friend loves the ride tho -_-
Stop hating
I apologize to anyone that loves this coaster but this is quite possibly the worse coaster I’ve ever rode
Same. I had a headache for the rest of the day
This coaster is a rough, shaky, out of control mess and that’s what makes it good for me and I like the night ride for it since it’s secluded from everything so you can’t see nothing back there which adds to the thrill so IMO it’s a solid 7/10 ride for me
I can understand why you say that, but for me woodys are great and just rough enough, back when hurler was still at the park it was rebel, hurler and grizzly which were my first 3 rides of the day
It is horrible.
Worst wooden coaster I have ever been on easily
My favorite wooden roller coaster
My favorite
Now it’s better lol
