Silva never went limp or out completely. He was still trying to sit up even though he was taking shots. Big John gave Sliva a chance to defend himself and stepped in appropriately. from original knock down punch to stoppage was 6 punches, if you review them, how many did Silva block intelligently, maybe 1, it was a late stoppage = other fights have been stopped earlier with less damage, the stoppage seemed a bit prolonged.

To many fights have been stopped and all of a sudden, the fighter that was supposedly out, jumps right up, and is pissed at every one and every body. It is a hurt business...John likes to give fighters the chance, so there is no complaints after words. Its time for big foot to retire, because mentally he is done as a fighter.
