I normally have chills before the first "with you", but if not, that's when they turn up, time after time after time. No other vocal performance, through several decades, has EVER done this to me. Absolute perfection. Angelina.

Thanks, Cliff for your great reactions that we Angels love! And for your generosity and compassion. This song brings an entirely new dimension to a Chris Isaak song that I already adored (big CI fan!) and yet Angelina made it something new and fresh artistically. She's such an artist. It's not just the vocal mastery or even the musicianship. Her choices show a depth of heart I can't imagine can exist in such a young person, but it does.
What skills at such a young age,to play the piano and to sing that good too,amazing and unbelievable,take my hat off you Angelina,great reaction too,I will also listen to this again!

If ever a music teacher tries to explain that silences are musical as important as the length of the notes, this is the ultimate example. As are the dynamics and the cry in her voice! Hauntingly beautiful and yet so seemingly simple! Part of it is preparation, most of it is .... just Angelina!

This is the Deluxe version with a piano. She usualy does it with a triangel or a whine glass.
she is emotionnal (she don't try to be emotionnal she is) and she makes me cry with so much covers (like more than 100) and original songs (4) and i'am never get bored with hers soothing voice. AJ is like sweet ice cream with subtle scents that makes you feel mentally better, emotionally speaking.

By far the best rendition of this song. Even though Chris Isaak wrote this he never attains the level of melancholy that the words of the song require imho.

Given that she was 11-12 at this time and really just learning the piano, it is an amazing performance.Cliff I do not know if anyone has made you aware yet of another 14 year old from Kazakhstan I' m going to send you a link of a song that shows what she can do with a song. The song is a Birdy cover. It is called, 'Not About Angels' from the movie "Fault In Our Stars". You have to keep in mind I love Angelina but I also love this girl Daneliya Tuleshova.
