Angelina’s vocal versatility is unmatched. She is the most unique young musical talent we have.
Angelina Jordan is unique. She has a great voice but what makes it better she has unique things her voice it cannot be copied.
There should be a picture of Angelina in the dictionaries next to the word "impressive". Not only does she sing like an angel, she also have the social conscience of one. She does not wear shoes on stage because she sympathises with the children around the world that are to poor to own them. To help these children she has been involved in raising several million dollars thru different charities. She has sung for Nobel laureates, royalty and presidents. She speaks several languages and play multiple instruments. She writes her own songs and does her own arrangements on stage and has done so since she was 8. Seasoned professional orchestral and studio musicians affectionately refers to Angelina as "the boss" when they work with her. Her work ethic is off the chart (if a concert is for a good cause, nothing will stop her from singing). Artists like Queen have recognized her enormous talent and she sang at Quincy's 85 birthday party. Although she is both beautiful and talented and have millions of views of her performances on RUclips (and now have a BIG record contract), she still is a normal humble and grounded girl. Finally she is a published author (the youngest one in Norway's history...), so to call Angelina impressive is not just internet hyperbole spouted by us angels, it's simply a fact...

This is one of her simplest songs, but one of her most beautiful & emotional. She is 12 for this & will turn 15 on Jan 10, 2021. This is a masterclass on the use of negative space (silence between notes). The timing is everything, just like in comedy. The wait for the punchline is everything. If it's too long or too short you lose a lot of the humor. The same in music, that long wait for the next note greatly increases the emotion & lets the listener feel the emotion. I love this!!!
Angelina was just 12 in this one. This is one of her many masterpieces. The way she delivers this song gave me a new understanding it. This is something she does again and again, with so many songs. She pulls you right in and makes you feel it. This video was edited so well. You have to bring Ellie back for more Angelina reactions! The stuff she said at the end makes me think she is really going to love everything Angelina does.

Thank you for another heartfelt reaction to my favourite singer and for introducing Ellie to us.
I've several comments to make. All the singers who have covered this song. No, let me correct that. Of all the singers I have listened to covering this song - at least a dozen - Angelina is the only one who recognises that it is not a love song but one of obsession. Or, if you will "obsessive love". If you have listened to the original, you will have realised that Angelina has slowed the tempo quite drastically to tell the story as she feels it needed to be told. I would hazard a guess that only Angelina could make such major changes and still retain the song's integrity. For me, this is still the most heart and gut-wrenching performances she has given.
Full marks must be given to Sune Amntoft, the creator of the video. It is so appropriate to the emotions in the song and I do like the symbolism of love, represented as a heart drawn in the sand, which by the end is obliterated by the waves.

All the things both of you said are true. Angelina, who was probably 12 here, and she IS the queen of emotion! No one that I know of isn't touched by Angelina's voice; it goes directly to your heart and never leaves.
Some people remain emotional long after they finished listening to a song by her.
Hope Ellie will get on board the Angelina train and listen to more of her work, learns about her story, etc.
There's a lot to discover about this young lady. She will be 15 on January 10th ;)

Angelina is always wonderful. But you must try her first release " million miles ". She wrote the lyrics and she dedicated it to her grand dad who died 2 years ago. I think it's the song of the year !!!!! Thanks for the reaction.

This is certainly one of the interpretations of Angelina's songs that most grabs your soul and makes you look inside, its slow, smoky, sweet, intimate tones drag you and make you lose the sense of time. Her voice is so emotional it leaves you like a log on the beach after a storm, but it's also so sweet! For me the best version I've heard of this song, she completely captures the pain of the lyrics, more much that original version.❤️ 🤗
Even if she is little more than a child, she has the ability to read songs, even if already performed by dozens of singers, in an incredible way, all her own that always amazes you, every time she manages to find a new interpretation, that no one has had before 😊 ❤️

yes, she plays the piano , guitar, flute and violin plus she is also an linguist speaking Norwegian, Farsi, English and maybe some Swedish and Japanese, I not sure of those last two but I know she can sing in Japanese. She is also the youngest published author in Norway.

Thanks for the reaction. I want to share an interesting parallel, my father (now deceased) saw Carlos Gardel sing when he was little in a private bar in Montevideo Uruguay on 18 de Julio Street. As he tells me, so many people accumulated outside that it was impossible for them to enter the bar. At one point Carlos Gardel made a gesture to them to wait for him to go out to sing. After finishing the presentation at the bar, he came out and sang outside in the middle of the avenue with all the people, many songs and his voice sounded as if he had speakers, they even had to cut off the traffic. There is also another anecdote of Gardel that in the USA they were making the film and in the hotel he began to sing in the shower and that caused a commotion throughout the hotel. Two days ago I was on the train in Buenos Aires and I was listening to Angelina with my earphones and I imagined that she sang at that moment and how people would react, I suppose the same silence that occurs in AGT or in any stadium that she sings . I wanted to share this parallel, we are witnessing a miracle named Angelina Jordan. I guess as a French man you would like the anecdote

Great reaction - Ellie - you should try reacting to some of Angelina's songs there are more than 100 cover songs and 4 originals. There is a well documented back story to this young artist. She entered Norway's got Talent at the age of 7, by the final she had turned 8. She won the contest by a landslide, and soon was taking part in concerts and festivals around the world. She wrote a book about a personal experience ( as a 6 year old) that was published when she was 9 years old. She took part in America's got Talent Champions when she was 13 years old, she is now 14 years old and recently signed up to Republic records. Her debut single with them, that she wrote the lyrics for, Million Miles, was released in November.

Nice reaction you 2, Sune show this video to Angie & she loved it, (I think she even posted it back then) “Wicked Game” When she was around 12. Love it better than the original no disrespect to Chris Issak , it's just you can't beat that voice of Angie's. Angie was asked about this song & she said “I just wanted to go in my room & mess around with it” & as they say the rest is history. (Angie completely stripped it down & played 3-4 cords on her little piano & WOW)

You might want to listen to another child prodigy's version of this song. Diana Ankudinova is a 14 year old Russian singer in this video, giving Wicked Game a more "tribal" sound. Both Angelina and Diana are wonderful gifts to the world.
