- Using the Milwaukee M12 cordless rivet gun is as easy as putting a rivet in the tip and pulling the trigger. This gun won't save your life, but it may save you from Carpal Tunnel syndrome.
The M12 rivet gun comes with 4 tips: 3/32", 1/8", 5/32", and 3/16". Changing tips is easy to do, and all the tools and pieces are on-board the tool.
Model 2550-20 is the bare tool and model 2550-22 is the kit with w two 1.5 Ah batteries, M12 charger, and the tool bag. You can get these at the Home Depot for $169 and $229, respectively. Авто/Мото
the best application for rivets and tools like this is aircraft. im an aircraft mechanic and we use this like once a week
Great point. Yes, aircraft utilize a lot of rivets, so excellent choice for this.
They work great!
Need to know of they sell a 1/4" tip and will it do longer aluminum monobolt rivets.
You say 169$ tool only but Home Depot is 199$ tool only
The prices there are not bad 300 $ for machine - battery - charger ,
here in Belgium is it about 300€ (Euro) or 399 $ for the machine - battery - charger .
2 years ago I bought Gesipa Accubird for 780 € (Euro) , and its already broken .
copper rivet for leather booths? size #9 , can this pull?
Do they happen to work with nutserts?
Rivets tend to jam in assembly tube
We noticed a few of those in the very beginning, but once we've cycled a few dozen through it, we don't see it anymore. Thanks for watching.
Why It doesn't automatically collect the stems? I noticed that you pushed them into the tool, cause they would fall.
Ben B Jr It does automatically collect them. The next rivet pushes it into the container.
Shop Tool Reviews kinda odd...I've seen this tool openned up. It should collect it without putting the stem off...Could you ask someone from Milwaukee about that? As RUclipsr, you may get a quick answer.
Thanks!
I just bought one and tried to warranty it for this reason. Another brand new one in the shop did the same thing. I found that the 3/32 tip on the 1/8 rivet does make the mandrel go into the catcher most of the time or the next rivet pushes it in. I only checked this video to find out if this is nromal
I've read the Milwaukee 1.5 Amp hour batteries run at 100% power even when they are near drained; does anyone know if the higher rated, 2.0. 3.0, etc batteries carry this characteristic?
all of your Milwaukee lithium-ion batteries, especially in conjunction with the FUEL brushless have very little "fall-off" when they die or discharge.
Dang this tool only is $250 now
Needs to be either brushless or 18v and do 5mm steel rivets
You should check out the new M18 rivet gun review. We covered this a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for watching.

@@Shoptoolreviews didnt know there was a 18v as nothing came up for it in the local online store
What are you putting 5mm steel rivets in?
Any one run 3/16 Huck rivets in here just curious
I just bought this with the intention of doing mostly 3/16 huck and depending on how it does I might drill out one of the tips for 1/4 huck
What no demonstration? Nice workshop! I understand why it's so clean! All talk no action! Fail! Thumbs down!
