hey bro im not a pro guy in this. but i think i can help you with this one. i used (L'Oreal Paris Tecni Art Volume Root Lift Spray Mousse) for few months and i faced hair fall and by hair fall i mean i can see my underneath skin. so i stopped using that and since then i avoided all kind of chemicals from using in my hair. hope this helps have a nice day

Shea butter alone won't have the holding strength. You need a binder like beeswax as well.
