never doubted Sams strategy at all. I have full trust in him to create a dynasty team. his footy iq as a player then to a coach is nuts. youngest team in the comp that can fully buy in and understand the tactics and structure.all the kids coming up together and signing on together. the only way to create a team that wins a bunch of silverware is the method Sam has taken. we don't want to win 1 here and there and keep making finals like Geelong. when its our window we coming for flags. Hawthorn is notorious for creating dynasty teams that win flags.

Midfield battled and linked up beautifully for 4 qtrs. Siss lead from the back like the General used to. Breust was reading the tea leaves like some sort of medium. The entire team wanted it more than the pies. Friggin great match to watch. Go you Hawks!!!!
Absolutely everyone for months has been saying chad is useless get rid of him! Ahh he has suffered so much injury I said give him 4 weeks of game time he will come good! He is a serious player just needs injury free footy! He is only 29 ! He definitely is not slowing up they get him fit he can play another 3 years maybe 4 33 is not old old plenty of 33 year olds playing! Imagine Chad in a grand final! Fit he would be one of your first picks! And he is mist by players a lot! He is always in the right spots! Brilliant skills! They won't delist wings he will get 1 year contracts till he finishes! He is a match winner ! Good to see someone else that sees chaddys talent and understanding it's injury that's hurt him not his talent! God bless
Keep paying attention to Sam's post match comments. He has such a high standard that he sets for everyone. This is what happens when the whole team is on the same page and plays together. Hawthorn and Sam Mitchell clearly have a plan, they’ve dropped experienced players to rebuild, drafted well, and are looking to be dangerous in 2-4 years. Don’t reward teams with poor management like WC when teams like hawthorn are showing you can be at the bottom and have hope

Josh Ward’s contest just before 5:57 was huge. Hill lined him up and Ward still went flying in. Lewis ending up kicking the goal but it was his goal.
