I gotta say, Papyrus jumping out the window is the funniest shit I've ever seen. I was laughing so hard I had to take a 5 minute break to be able to continue with the date.
Papyrus's way of thinking also strongly impacted me. Thinking that no one has an evil nature, any of us can be a great person if we try. And that's the problem with many people who commit atrocities, they are so absorbed that "deep down" they are good people that they don't realize what they have become. That's why I always try to be the best of me, because just like everyone without exception we are capable of evil as we are of good. That message in general is what I'm so passionate about undertale but sorry for straying off topic, I was supposed to be talking about papyrus lol
And he is so relatable to me, not only cause he is neurodivergent but also cause I headcanon him being aro and- Idk man, he's such a cool boy, what more can I say.

Also goddangit I’m getting emotional again. He is so important to me as well, and I adore him so much. He’s what also makes me happy whenever I’m feling low. Cause of genuine optimism and care he has for everyone, even those who act rude to him or others. He’s a sweetheart and I’ll never understand why ppl hate him. Not to say they’re terrible for hating him. But to make it seem like his optimism is him being “shallow” or “careless” is just,,, such pain.

Papyrus not being in Deltarune is 60% of the reason I have zero interest in that game. The other 40% is being forced to be around a bully character.
