Thanks for the Sub 🤙🏻 I think the Competitor from S&W is a solid pistol, in my opinion it would be closer to what the DH3 is than the AXG Pro. It’s totally personal preference but S&W makes great pistols and you would come out ahead regardless of your choice 👍🏻
Thanks for the vid. Out of all the Sigs, which would you recommend for a first time shooter, low recoil and muzzle pop? The DH3 looks like it requires some skill and experience. 320 or a 365 looks good but also looking at Legion. Need some help on this!
Glad you like the vid 👍🏻 it will ultimately come down to your budget, intended use and what you really want to get out of your first sig. The legion series is all the bells and whistles per say, for your first gun I’d say the 320 series has some good options all around and maybe look at something also like an M18 or X series pistols like the compact etc But you don’t really have to be experienced to have a pistol like the DH3, it’s just a full size pistol that was designed for competition but you can use it for whatever you’d like to so don’t worry about that. Ultimately figure out what you want to get out of the pistol, and go from there if you have the budget to get into the legion series I say go for it 👍🏻
Really appreciate this feedback and all the insights you provided. I recently purchased a Walther PDP 4.5 compact. Being a new gun owner, I find the muzzle pop a little difficult to manage. Therefore, I'm looking at Sig for something a little more manageable
@@cunnos the PDP is a solid pistol, but ultimately if you are having issues controlling it or it doesn’t seem to fit you then looking for another option isn’t a bad thing. If you genuinely like the gun then invest in the springs and give it a chance before you switch, but if you can’t say you like the pistol then there’s no need to invest in the extra parts. It’s 100% how you feel and what best fits both your hands, is easy to control and shoot and what you you actually look forward to shooting
I have the AXG Pro but I love the ease of the slide rack with the DH3. Is there something I can do with the guide rod/ spring for the AXG Pro to make it more like the DH3?
Could you please explain more about how the pro is more “all purpose” as compared to the DH3? Also would love to know your personal preference on the feel comparison when shooting.
Sure, again these are my preferences but you can go with any pistol you like but I’m just laying out my thought process behind both guns. The pro has a steel frame (really good for recoil mitigation) different grip angle which is a little wider than the DH3. Takes a certain hand size to really benefit from that and also have to deal with a constant grip adjustment for smaller hand shooters. The DH3 was developed as a competition pistol, Daniel Horner is a competition guy and you can see that in this pistol. You can use any firearm you’d like for either purpose like i said, but the AXG pro being setup the way it is is much more geared for home defense/duty style gun in my opinion as opposed to the DH3. Especially since I equipped the pro with a Romeo 2 its a great home defense firearm as opposed to my DH3 without a dot The DH3 is very slim around the beaver tail portion of the gun which I love, and just how that gun is built, it’s a shooters gun for sure. Between both I’ll use the Pro for home defense and the DH3 for range/training since it’s setup to gas it up and burn it down. Hopefully this answers your question better
I just don’t understand this trend of skeletonized slides. A) it’s ugly b) why would I want to deal with giant holes in my slide where dirt and dust can easily get into it? Just another thing to snag on my holster.
You mention that the dh3 is a tactical gun but its not for home defense as its not practical. Unless you dont want to be tactical during a home defense situation, I really don't see why it is not practical 🤔 This review seems biased to be honest. Just a bit of constructive criticism, not bashing on you.
I said it was more of a competition style set up cause the DH3 is a competition gun and was designed that way primarily. But I appreciate the constructive feedback 👍🏻
Which one of these is your favorite?
Getting the pro today 😊
I choose the AXG Pro, zero regrets I love my Pro!
Cab you mount an RMR on it?
@@alfonsobrena yes
I have the pro and I love it
AXG pro isn’t a steel frame. It’s alloy. The tungsten frame is heavier. I’m really happy with my AXG pro
The tungsten frame is heavier because there is a tungsten weight in the back of the frame that you can remove
Aluminum
Dh3 is amazing
Great video, thank you. You have a new subscribe…. How do you think the S&W 2.0 Competitor-Metal 9mm would compete against these two beauties? Thanks!
Thanks for the Sub 🤙🏻

The AXG is a Hard Coat Anodized Alloy frame so correct me if I am wrong but I wouldn't call the AXG Pro a steel frame gun. Good comparison of these
It’s a complete stainless steel frame coated per Sigs website
I bet you’re a hoot at parties, huh? 😂

Although someone told me to get the Sprinco 13 or 15 springs to deal with the muzzle, pop and recoil

In order to fit an RMR OR SRO you need a filler plate, the footprint is delta point pro
DPP and RMR cut
awesome presentation thank you !
For me the 226 SAO legion is my favorite!! Not a big 320 guy
The AXG Pro is what i bought and ordered a Romeo X pro for it
Did i hear correctly?
Is the DH3 cut with an RMR footprint?
Im aware that it's only DPP/Sig footprint.
With a plate you can run RMR, direct mount no plates you’re correct it’s DPP/Sig footprint. My oversight for not touching on the plates in the video
@richardsonprecisiontrainin8365 thanks for the clarification sir.
Just bought a DH3 the other day. Looking forward to it. Thanks for your insight.

Yes. I had one mounted on mine.

What is the weight difference and are the mags interchangeable/compatible?
Axg is not a steel frame
