@@MusicBoxBoy I have a video suggestion: Would you play, or at least show your earliest cylinder?

My late great uncle who was born in the early 1900’s would say ‘You kids and the new fangled inventions”. I would say keep up the great work😅!
Thanks from this high fidelity look back to yesterday.
    Have a great day!

It sounds exactly like you'd except. Wow. Like it's been pulled straight from a black & white cartoon.

Amazing collection and model, turn of the century phonographs/gramophones just look so great and much more sophisticated compared to machines even a decade later . Though sound reproduction leaves a lot to be desired. There is a listing for 60 cylinder in which they want 150 for, I obviously want to get that price down as to me its much but how much do cylinders cost in bulk or in general?

I like the sale tag too. I used to live in Kingston NY. I never tire of a good march. The bullet end on the mandrel was a good idea. Columbia always thought out there machines well.

Thanks Brian! I agree with you completely. Columbia made some very interesting and innovative phonographs. Many of which were (and remain) highly underrated.

This is one of the oldest phonographs I've seen in use. My dream is to see a berliner machine from 1895/96 being used though, they were hand wound until 97/98 when spring motor ones were released.

A real nice and interesting phonograph machine. Never seen bevore one of those. The gaskets in the reproducer sound really hard, i think they had seen better days one time and are in need of a replacement to preduce a better sound.

I have a Regina music box I inherited from my mother looks like your 1910. I had a few questions about it.
