- Well I finally got round to compiling my top ten supermarket coffees list...looking back I was really surprised at some of the high scores some of these coffees got but the numbers dont lie and I am quite happy with the final ten.

Always get the Starbucks Blonde when it's on offer, first choice for black coffee.
Definitely best when made black as the milk does dilute the taste...but Starbucks do plenty of diesel dark roasts for that job...great value when on offer which it is quite often so worth holding out to buy when it's reduced or appears on the shelves of the bargain stores.
Tried the kru cafe, just ok but pricey for the quality. Will try the Starbucks but have not come across pikes place in supermarkets near me. Had many good percols so def agree. Of the Union coffees not tried the one you had but really impressed with their house roast avail in sainsburys. 0/10 customer service though as they never replied to a question I asked on their website despite being"passionate about coffee" and wanting customer feedback. Plus it was on a contact form so time consuming to fill in. Thanks for a great review condensing so much into a short video😌☺️🙂
Thanks for your kind words... I'm surprised I gave the Cru Kafe such a high score when I reviewed it but was disappointed with their range of coffees when they appeared in supermarkets...those online contact forms are not the best for getting a reply... I get better results by emailing companies directly... I rarely get replies when I fill in the contact forms.
Booths Speciality Coffees are my favourite, Costa Rica my favourite one.

I’m loving Harrogate ( Taylor’s) coffee beans atm. Very good imo
They have a decent range and are all good quality...the After Dark is a good dark roast and is one of my favourites and maybe should of made it onto the list.
#1 decaf coffee..! Controversial choice there ;-) Respect for that. One of my favorite coffees I've had at home is a decaf blend form Mexico (from a local roaster), great stuff!
Thanks...I didnt even realise how much I like Peruvian coffees from the amount of them in my top ten...but the Waitrose decaf still easily stands out above the rest...I wouldn't mind trying a caffeinated version.
Peruvian coffee anytime..the one from Aldi..what a flavour 10/10....

Terrible review approach IMHO. You should have explained how you approached scoring, what criteria you measured against and how you measured them. Did you baseline against a specific type or brand of coffee. Why would you put a decaff in the group, ridiculous. You should have had two groups, one for the decaff. I down voted as I was hoping for some insight.
