I just flew in QA707 doha to dulles on friday 3/22 and the crew were amazing and prompt. They made my journey a pleasure and happier.Best business class experience. There was kind Indian supervisor and a nice Asian man who served everyone without complaining right throughout. I will definitely fly again with them and recommend Qatar airways to all❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
I love the A350-1000. It's my favorite! I flew it twice between IAD & DOH. Great flights. On the 13 hour flight, besides enjoying the delicious food, watching movies, sleeping, and even catching up with some office work. The internet access is super! All in all, it's a perfect QSuites flight. Your report was great! Thanks.

I can’t believe how the newer generation planes like the A 350 or the B 787 are so quiet. Haven’t experienced it yet but hope to one day. Also I loved the curved winglet as i think it adds to the beauty of the plane and it is very easy to spot. Great job with the video once again, loved watching this first class experience on QR which is an airline I haven’t tried either.

Great video and such good quality. The Q-suites are I think the nicest way to fly bar none. The ones in the 777s I think are a tad wider, but the A350s have the tail and nose cameras which is a +.
Are they wider, really? I found the ones on the A350 more spaceous, but with tighter aisles. But I might be wrong. But yes, the camera’s are a bonus! Thanks for watching!
It is a revolutionary travel experience, just not really for someone like me in Dubai who is used to hanging out at the A380 Lounge 😛 But I’m sure you had an incredible time!

Like the style of the video, the silence is really enjoyable with natural sounds. Need your recommendations and advice on how to get good deals (website, miles , timing etc) for travelling business class. A350/A380 business class is an absolute dream
There are so many tips and tricks and I keep discovering every day more.. Basically I live in Dubai, where travel is super expensive. And it’s actually cheaper where the average income is lower and where there is more competition. Places like Egypt and South Africa work out great for me! It’s cheaper for me to fly from South Africa to America then UAE to America even if it’s double the distance!

Loved this as always, flying 16hrs yes you want comfort and Q suite would be one of the best ways to travel if you can afford that, the Airbus 350 looks a very comfortable ride which I’m super excited il be travelling on British Airways A350 end of the month 😍😍. Brilliant 👍👏🙌
You’ll be surprised to know Paul that Qsuites are far from the most expensive product out there, weirdly enough.. I paid 3 times less vs the direct flight from Dubai, as I was traveling from DXB.. Have a lot of fun on the BA A350 and let me know how it goes! I’m looking forward to fly it too 😔

I recently rode in Delta 350-900/ sat behind the wings. Aircraft was not library-quiet. I think the Delta 787 is quieter and has a better cabin feel/ atmosphere.
I’m so happy you finally flew on Qatar. No matter how many times I flew on Qatar, I never flew on their A350-1000 the only aircraft I never flew on and haven’t flown on an A350 for the past 3 years. I was such a frequent flyer and over the past 2 years all my flights on Qatar were on 777’s, 787’s and A330
I fly monthly con Qatar, there is a playlist dedicated to them, have a look! But you should definitely do your best to fly the A350-1000 as it’s by far the best in the fleet. I think I’ve flown them all by now.. hopefully you get to do it again soon!
The intro music is always unique on every video you make.... 😉 The QR Lounge is excellent and very neat, so you can enjoy it along with the whole great package they offer.... 👏👏 A BIG BRAVO to the crew of course... On a looooooong haul flight I'd like to spend it nice and quiet, IE should be excessively loaded with good stuff and to pay some extra £$€ for a proper comfortable seat if needed... Fabulous video , with lots of information not only the air craft also other flights and their destination kudos to you . yeah i was frequent traveler in emirates for last 12 years. After Pandamic i changed to Singapore airlines which is equally superb especially the business class , for some reasons few few features are missing in SQ compare to Qatar, but i feel comfort wise SQ is better then Qatar and better deals as well if u buy the tickets in advance .FYI last year july i traveled CHENNAI SINGAPORE JFK via frankfurt , ( A380 ) and singapore and chennai this year in march Chennai Singapore Newark Singapore Chennai again in the monthe of june Chennai Singapore Auckland Singapore Chennai in the month of August Chennai Singapore Newark Singapore Chennai . ALL BUSINESS CLASS Newark Singapore worlds longest flight of 18 hrs 30 mins.

@@TheLayoverAviation Yep exactly. SAS wanted to save fuel doing single ENG taxi not just after landing, but before takeoff on taxi out aswell. So they always start ENG 1 first now, so they have the oppertunity. F.ex. at Heathrow, Amsterdam and Frankfurt it can be handy. In generel also when there is a lot of traffic. The ENG on the 320neo needs 3 minutes to warm up, so yea, they time it for the takeoff.
I don’t think they would like it at all in other countries.. I don’t mind it at all, I hear prayers many times a day as I live in Dubai so it’s all a habit. Thanks for watching!
It is a welcoming and nice country if you have money. Many other less fortunate people work 7 days a week with harsh conditions, a sad reality.. But many of the people I’ve encountered have been great!

Do you like the a350 hockey stick like wing tip or boeing rake type wing tip? for me goes to boeing all day long!! for the engine sounds I still like GE90 despite noisier cabin, for the comfort and quiet cabin , my NO 1 choice is 787 with RR engines , I also love the a350, but the windows in a350 can't match with 787
I got quickly fond of the A350’s wing tips. I however can’t say the same for the A330neo.. Engine sounds are the RR Trents on the A330, can’t get enough of those! B787 with RR is nice but still a bit quiet for my taste. I’ve got an A330 video coming up soon and you’ll hear! Thanks for writing!

Great Video as always, Can't believe I missed this one 😅. Looks like you cut close to boarding, how do you know if you're going to cut it close? Also, those snacks for the crew look delicious, did you buy them from doha airport or somewhere else? I miss all the World Cup branding on QR"s flights, it was a fun theme. I agree, that safety video was badddd. Wow didn't know PM Modhi visited at that time! Glad to know that those airbuses will be back in the sky soon or already are! Dang it, I missed the raffle! Anyways, I would love to spend 16 hours in the air in no other than Qsuite! That World Cup dessert looks absolutely delicious! I don't know what happened to the option to watch live football matches on the planes, or maybe it was supposed to be through the WiFi but I either didn't get it to work or wasn't using it properly. Wouldn't turning off one engine cause the plane to drift due to uneven thrust?
Nice video, the best I habe seen for many months. Question is, why QR uses the A350 though these are not safe (in QRs opinion) to fly because of the painting issue.
Thanks a lot Jochen, what a compliment! The A350’s are perfectly safe as they continue to reliably operate around the world. Some A350’s were grounded, exclusively at QR, due to some paint peeling issues. No big deal!

@@TheLayoverAviation oh every seat was taken. All flights are full. Madness. I even flew AC from YYZ to DXB - and not a single seat was empty. YYZ - South Asia/Middle East (bec of South Asians) is pretty solid business.
I tried to do that on a 12 hour flight and it was an utter failure as at one point my body was routing itself on auto pilot back to the seat. Thanks for subbing and writing!

Hands down, this video was one of the best trip reports on your channel! Really loved the experience review and I 100% believe the QSuite is a great way to spend ultra long-hauls. A question if I may..is it alright if I use the same font and text details that you use in your thumbnails? Thanks a lot, very glad to hear you enjoyed it! It is a great way indeed, but I still miss a lounge.. The fonts are called “League Gothic” in cursiva and capitals. Do as you please, as long as you’re happy I’m too. But I think it’s important to create a brand of your own so that people immediately associate content to you. Just my two cents :)

been in the lufthansa a380, i was in the upper deck going to Frankfurt from NY in 2019. It was alright but not my expectations.

Man the A350 is so quiet, doesn't even matter where you sit; you feel like as if you're in a library or small quiet shop in the middle of nowhere!
I agree. But it still has the incredible sounds on take off too! I would be so sad if the engines would be quiet on take off..
I recently rode in Delta 350-900/ sat behind the wings. Aircraft was not library-quiet. I think the Delta 787 is quieter and has a better cabin feel/ atmosphere.

I’m so happy you finally flew on Qatar.
No matter how many times I flew on Qatar, I never flew on their A350-1000 the only aircraft I never flew on and haven’t flown on an A350 for the past 3 years.
I was such a frequent flyer and over the past 2 years all my flights on Qatar were on 777’s, 787’s and A330
I fly monthly con Qatar, there is a playlist dedicated to them, have a look!
But you should definitely do your best to fly the A350-1000 as it’s by far the best in the fleet. I think I’ve flown them all by now..

Great review as always, Qatar is on my bucket list of airlines to fly. 16 hours on board hmmm a little rest then dine on demand sampling some of the incredible wines and champagne and interacting with the incredible crew(s)

Fabulous video , with lots of information not only the air craft also other flights and their destination kudos to you . yeah i was frequent traveler in emirates for last 12 years. After Pandamic i changed to Singapore airlines which is equally superb especially the business class , for some reasons few few features are missing in SQ compare to Qatar, but i feel comfort wise SQ is better then Qatar and better deals as well if u buy the tickets in advance .FYI last year july i traveled CHENNAI SINGAPORE JFK via frankfurt , ( A380 ) and singapore and chennai this year in march Chennai Singapore Newark Singapore Chennai again in the monthe of june Chennai Singapore Auckland Singapore Chennai in the month of August Chennai Singapore Newark Singapore Chennai . ALL BUSINESS CLASS Newark Singapore worlds longest flight of 18 hrs 30 mins.

Quite reassuring, but most airlines in the Middle East have chatty pilots. I believe it’s a must at QR, EK and EY.

AMAZING Video sir! So lovely. For your information, some airlines start ENG 1 first on the A320 family too. For example SAS. They changed it in 2019

@@TheLayoverAviation Yep exactly. SAS wanted to save fuel doing single ENG taxi not just after landing, but before takeoff on taxi out aswell. So they always start ENG 1 first now, so they have the oppertunity. F.ex. at Heathrow, Amsterdam and Frankfurt it can be handy. In generel also when there is a lot of traffic. The ENG on the 320neo needs 3 minutes to warm up, so yea, they time it for the takeoff.

I don’t mind it at all, I hear prayers many times a day as I live in Dubai so it’s all a habit.

It is a welcoming and nice country if you have money. Many other less fortunate people work 7 days a week with harsh conditions, a sad reality..
But many of the people I’ve encountered have been great!

Do you like the a350 hockey stick like wing tip or boeing rake type wing tip? for me goes to boeing all day long!! for the engine sounds I still like GE90 despite noisier cabin, for the comfort and quiet cabin , my NO 1 choice is 787 with RR engines , I also love the a350, but the windows in a350 can't match with 787
I got quickly fond of the A350’s wing tips. I however can’t say the same for the A330neo..
Engine sounds are the RR Trents on the A330, can’t get enough of those! B787 with RR is nice but still a bit quiet for my taste.

Anyways, I would love to spend 16 hours in the air in no other than Qsuite! That World Cup dessert looks absolutely delicious! I don't know what happened to the option to watch live football matches on the planes, or maybe it was supposed to be through the WiFi but I either didn't get it to work or wasn't using it properly. Wouldn't turning off one engine cause the plane to drift due to uneven thrust?
Nice video, the best I habe seen for many months. Question is, why QR uses the A350 though these are not safe (in QRs opinion) to fly because of the painting issue.

Some A350’s were grounded, exclusively at QR, due to some paint peeling issues.

@@TheLayoverAviation oh every seat was taken. All flights are full. Madness. I even flew AC from YYZ to DXB - and not a single seat was empty. YYZ - South Asia/Middle East (bec of South Asians) is pretty solid business.

I tried to do that on a 12 hour flight and it was an utter failure as at one point my body was routing itself on auto pilot back to the seat.

The fonts are called “League Gothic” in cursiva and capitals.
Do as you please, as long as you’re happy I’m too. But I think it’s important to create a brand of your own so that people immediately associate content to you. Just my two cents :)
