Progress is looking good! It's amazing how much effort it takes to get the basic structure of a game working even when you start off with a functioning engine o_o
I'm always tempted to make a new game from scratch or just use already existing libraries (not a complete engine), but then I remind myself I don't have that kind of patience 😂
Pro builder is pretty great, I actually bought it back in the day when it wasn't part of unity. People don't realize how lucky they are to get access to that package for free now :'D Looking good so far keep it up.
Nice work so far with the character movement 👍, definitely a step up from the floating tictac models lol. I think it would be nice to get a quick overview of the game in the beginning; found myself wondering if this was more of a restaurant management sim where you build your own restaurant, or something like diner dash where you're just serving more and more customers. Good luck!
@@NathanRohner Trying to learn game making on Raspberry Pi's. Needed basic info in how to start. Found the Pi can actually be a meta world server and the Pi400 with Chromium was rendering faster the my Windows PC
@@NathanRohner Nope, a guy posted his meta verse code on the Pi forum, I had a bare metal Webserver kernel on an old model B, copied his html and js files to it. Used the Pi400 to log into the Pi server and it just worked, logged my PC in and the WebGL code rendering on was slower. Took about 10mins. Making my own game is going to take longer but I know it can be done. Blender 2.79 and Blender for Artist 1.0 work on Pi's. Not Unreal 5 but a place to start and cheap too. Dual screens are bonus.
In terms of rushing around as a cute character, for sure! There won't be any mechanics to make the drinks, but collecting orders and running around is definitely going to mean it'll be somewhat similar to overcooked!
Do you have any plans to add spiders to the game? Y'know, to prevent annoying customers from screaming at the waiter for watching ABC News or something? It's so cool you can make your own animations now, I'd love to know how to do that, I have a hard time understand codes. I try to practice by modding Skyrim & I still struggle with it. Anyways, take care Nathan. May the spiders protect you.
Looks great so far and I have to say I hope you get the recognition you deserve from this keep it up
Thanks, yeah let's all hope this work pays off 😌

@@NathanRohner Yeah you've come this far, might as well push yourself as far as possible eh? Good luck!
All the best

For being an early investor, I thank you! Also thanks for the support 😊
Great video Nathan can’t wait to see this game when it is finished.
Thanks, honestly can't imagine the day finishing it yet 😅

Thanks, for sure in the next video I'll add a quick summary at the start!
How did I miss all these videos. Some useful tips.

I wonder Nathan, could Cocoa Loco fill the gap after finishing Overcooked games after a few times? Will it be any similar?
