When ever I’m feeling down I watch some videos of John and he gets me laughing. John you certainly have been one of the best. Wish that you were still around.
Met him a few years ago during a live local interview show. Not only was he hilarious, he was also very friendly & personable. I got a DVD of the show, you can hear me laughing in the backround.😄
John Pinette was a hoot. Always a funny man, miss him. Can you imagine the jokes he would be making about this pandemic we are in, if he were still with us?
The 1/2 Hour Comedy Hour introduced me to a lot of comedians before they got famous. John's Nyquil joke has always been one of my favorite jokes of all time. Old school Nyquil was some potent stuff.
My dad gave me NyQuil when I was in middle school, I woke up before it had run it's course and remember feeling really off, waved my hand in front of my face, and i could see images of my hand as it moved back and forth. Didn't take that stuff again until I was in college
John's latest gig plays right next to the pearly gates. His comedy still flourishes with the flavors, textures and aromas that heaven brings. His biggest gripe is the food is all light and airy and he's dyin' for devils food cake. The whole cake! We miss ya buddy.
If there is an afterlife, I would be able to see John evolve and perform forever. I never get tired of watching his bits on RUclips....even when I know what's coming. His facial gestures, demeanor and delivery can never be bested by anyone.
I love how you can hear John's early stuff, and how he honed it over the years. Always a delight, I wish I could have seen him in person. Just a gifted comedian.
It’s so motivating seeing how funny he was here yet later on in his career he managed to make the same jokes even better and funnier he’s actually incredible
I remember the "you go now, you been here 4 ower." stuck in my head didnt know who what or where i saw it so many years ago, but this makes sense now as i watched mtv in this era.
An alle Uploader die diese Video hochladen Danke dafür.Ich hab ihn erst vor ein paar monaten durch youtube kennengelernt und liebe ihn.Schade das er schon verstorben ist aber er bringt immer noch Leute zum lachen❤
i sure do feel like i lost out never having seen John Pinnett in person. he is awesome! i just found him this year, and i have watched everything i could find on him...i would love to go to an all you can eat chinese buffet with him! i would be rolling in the sushi at him messin with the manager!
First time I heard his act was on my sat radio and his bit on Chinese buffet,Im sure glad there was not a cop behind as I was all over the road from laughing ,still wonder why I did not run off the road ,so now I watch it on you tube where I only fall out of chair ,we miss you john we truly do.
Here’s a guy who life gave him lemons and he made lemonade struggling with his weight all his life no doubt... Rest In Peace I’m sure he’s keeping heaven laughing
@@ZingsVideos I think the fact that Pinette was well over 300 pounds (He looks near 400 in one special. He's HUGE) for decades of his life had more to do with it then a god.
I can't believe I didn't know who pinnette was until the early 2000's. to me, louie anderson was the only fat funny comedian for decades. but pinette was right there with him. pinette should of been huge. maybe he didn't get a lot of movie or tv opportunities that could have made him much more famous.
I miss John Pinette. His videos, " I'm Starving", and "Still Starvin" will make you laugh till you cry. The world needs more laughter.
❤
Still hungry 😁
Don’t forget “I Say Nay Nay”.
Lost 100lbs looking great
He was so talented and his later stuff really shows how he just kept improving. The man was talented.
Still funny to this day. Legends never truly die
I just discovered John's videos on RUclips 3 weeks ago. Today is February 2, 2024.
When ever I’m feeling down I watch some videos of John and he gets me laughing. John you certainly have been one of the best. Wish that you were still around.
Man, he was such a talent. Vaya con Dios , John. May you eat all you want in Heaven, and never gain a pound.

RIP John. You were one of the very best!
John Pinette was a hoot. Always a funny man, miss him. Can you imagine the jokes he would be making about this pandemic we are in, if he were still with us?
He's up in heaven now, being just as funny as he was on earth.
You have made my burden liter. Bless u
Especially since COVID shut down all the buffets. Talk about starvin'!! 😂😂😂

Yes indeed ! I am 56 soon and in the 70's Nick Sr. would give me a teaspoon once in a while, OUT like a light for 10 hrs !! Classic truth !
dollar store i got last week was a off brand but it was zombie! i was loopy for 24 hours!

Old school NyQuil was 10% alcohol and 90% stuff they specifically said you shouldn't mix with alcohol.

I loved this show. This show is what introduced me to John Pinette. He was my favorite. Thanks for this blast from the past.
RIP John...many thanks for making us laugh..you left us too soon..

Became a fan of John Pinette because of this episode. RIP John Pinette
It's very sad that John Pinette has passed. He was extremely funny.

This comment made me smile. RIP John
"Dying for Devil's food cake" Lol
I remember this from when it first aired. I feel so old.

I was 17 when this aired on Mtv and I saw it then in 1990. 31 years later i watched it again. Fantastic!
It’s so motivating seeing how funny he was here yet later on in his career he managed to make the same jokes even better and funnier he’s actually incredible
Acid wash jeans and a plastic shirt, ah how I miss the '90s!
he left us far far to soon miss him
I saw this as a kid, i could only remember the chipmonk joke...here it is, 21yrs later. :)
Sam here. I was wondering what his name was.

My very favorite comedian of all time!!!!!
Not top, but top 5 for sure
The miata bit got me. This guy is hilarious!
Rest in forever peace, big guy.
Love him and miss him. Just going to have to listen to his stuff a million times I guess since there will never be another John Pinette
I thought I'd heard all his routines, but there was some new-to-me stuff in here!
this guy is good very clever and very funny.
Just randomly had the Batman bit in my head. Glad I found it. Thanks for posting. Good to see it after all these years.
Most interesting part of this set is that you can see where his jokes would develop as his career progressed
For someone who mainly only talks about food, he's funny and creative mo-fo!
Yeah he does more then food jokes
Miss him ...miss him...miss him. The world lost one of the best.
It's kind of amazing... that Pauly Shore was ever a star.
Indeed
It helps if your mom owns a comedy club.
I was thinking the exact same thing. He's so unfunny it's painful to watch
Yeah! He really sucks!
Who?
John was the man .God bless John
"Gorby" lol this is older than I am!
OMG how did he get the Miami Sound Machine words out so fast. Funny man.
This man was high energy. His ability to sing all those songs as a chipmunk takes some serious talent.
If it's that close I ain't goin! Lmao love this guy 🤣 RIP sir

This guy was your UNCLE?! I guess. He was so funny.
How much you weigh?
Ima just dount that.
So MTV used to be fun?! Wow...
they had music videos earlier
As long as you could put up with fist magnets like Pauly Shore.
In the early 80s everyone watched MTV or CNN nonstop. How the mighty have fallen.
DAV!D&CLARA 24 hours a day of music videos. Then they started the game shows. Then it fell apart.

I am astonished at over 150 disliked this. Wth is wrong with this world now?
I always loved him. I like when he says get out of the line.
Paulie Shore - never stops getting old
John Pinette was the best by far. His comedy was genuine. No lude remarks just fun!!

Rest well funny man. This outfit is hilarious on its own. Pinette is legend.
Hard to dress Beeg Boi!
MTV's too busy telling us we're racist to air jokes like these anymore.
Absolute truth! MTV is so dead.
you seem a little triggered by being called "racist"... gee, i wonder why? so who's calling you "racist"?
Biscuits McGee u r racist that's the joke.
It died the day they took the music off. John Pinette was too good for the crap channel MTV.
Biscuits McGee When did MTV's audience become racist?
I almost logged off just because I had to endure a second of that annoying ass Pauly Shore. RIP John.
Same here!!
Insert "How many Croats does it take to find the Fast-Forward button" joke here.
I love how someone laughs after he said he went out jogging.
This damn thing won't let me hit "like" twice.
John Pinette knew Paulie Shore was uncool even when Paulie Shore was cool
Damn straight. When is a Walmart truck going to run down his unfunny ass?
That's wrong though. Paulie Shore was never cool.
It's God's cruel joke that Pinette is the one that died.

He was bumpo in the second Punisher movie
Outstanding
John Pinette is dead, but Pauly Shore lives. It's a fucked-up world.
That was awesome that was really really
I’d forgotten that he was the one I stole the NyQuil jokes from.
goo Jhn Pinette will never ceaswe to make me laugh at him screaming about...bread
Guy was so self-depricatingly funny!
R.i.p John boi.
were we really that starved for entertainment in the 90's that Pauly Shore was considered funny ?
@Patrick Ancona he has always sucked
No
No. Paulie Shore was the original douche canoe before the term was coined. Ahead of his time.
Not even when stoned.
he was the best
I recently learned that John Pinette passed away in 2014, our loss of a great comedic talent.
