HORSFIELDS Garden Tortoises

This is another very popular species of garden tortoise. Widely sold and kept by enthusiasts in teh United Kingdom. We sell many every year. Although 2024 there has been a general shortage of tortoises.
Horsfields have a very voracious appetite. It is important not to over feed these ‘guttsy’ tortoises.
When ever the weather is dry and mild, Horsfields tortoises should be in the garden. Ensure you do not keep them on ‘Astro turf’ as it is plastic, and the tortoises will in due course try and eat it. They would then given that situation become unwell. Just find a nice corner of your garden, which can be sectioned off and house them there in safety.
