The amount of time and engineering that went into this project is unbelievable. The craftsmanship is parallel with an actual Rolls Royce IMO. Talk about a labor of love...on so many levels.👍

I work for one of the big 3 automakers here in Detroit, and I sent this video to one of the guys in the clay modeling department of the design studio. Him and his coworkers were blown away by this craftsmanship (as was I). Unlike clay, wood is obviously much harder to shape, and much more difficult to fix if you make a mistake. They said these skills are on par with them, if not better.
The thing that stood out to me right away is half of his tools are garbage. There is a massive difference between low budget/no name tools and high quality tools. Doing this with good tools is incredible, doing this what he used is beyond incredible
Dad is a very impressive woodworker. Hopefully the car remains in the family for many generation. Great father-son bonding. I wonder how much it weighs.

This was a true labor of love for your son. Every child on the block will be so envious seeing him riding in it . They’re going be asking their fathers to make them one. But not every man is crafty like that. I was blown away by the fact that you were able to fit in it and drive . And the ending part of the video was priceless. It would be a pretty boring world if everyone had exactly the same things, economy, and abilities to not create envy. My opinion but I may be wrong of course. Of course some kid will be envious of the car, but does that mean the father shouldn't have made it because it could happen? It's a too dark and negative way of looking at it IMO.

This guy is definitely the coolest and best Dad/Father around. I’m truly blown away by how he went out of his way to build that beautiful little car for his son. Right now I just wanna start having children of my own and have this guy build a bunch of those cars for them. It would be worth every dollar and the time.

As an artist, I can appreciate how difficult it can be to draw a car, accurately representing all the subtle curves and planes of the body. But to do the same by carving it out of wood is a whole different level. Bravo!

I work for one of the big 3 automakers here in Detroit, and I sent this video to one of the guys in the clay modeling department of the design studio.
Him and his coworkers were blown away by this craftsmanship (as was I). Unlike clay, wood is obviously much harder to shape, and much more difficult to fix if you make a mistake. They said these skills are on par with them, if not better.

But not every man is crafty like that. I was blown away by the fact that you were able to fit in it and drive . And the ending part of the video was priceless. Right now I just wanna start having children of my own and have this guy build a bunch of those cars for them. It would be worth every dollar and the time.

As an artist, I can appreciate how difficult it can be to draw a car, accurately representing all the subtle curves and planes of the body. But to do the same by carving it out of wood is a whole different level. Bravo!
