In fact, Egypt is developing in an amazing way despite the Corona crisis and the Russian war on Ukraine. If it were not for these reasons, Egypt would be in a greater state, knowing that all of our Arab allies in the Middle East, especially the Persian Gulf countries, are exerting their maximum energy to harm Egypt because of their fear of the amazing developments, believing that we will delay their progress. We depend on work, science, and civilization, while the Persian Gulf countries depend on oil and machinations in the Middle East to achieve huge wealth. There is a big difference between Egypt and others.

Excellent video you somed it all in a very aliquant way. As Egyptian , I can just add one small information that Egypt is building also 40 new cities (each would host 3 to 5 million population) before 2030. As far as I know that we are done with more than 24 of these cities already. just check one of the new cities such as Galala city at the Red Sea or Alamin city at the Mediterranean Sea.

This is called the passage of development.
It was an old idea for an Egyptian NASA scientist "Farouk El-Baz".
The idea was constructing new road parallel to the Nile rive, and build a new cities on the desert connected to the old crowded cities which have been built on the agricultural lands of the Nile river.
Finally the government started this project and they did an artificial river with new delta.
The artificial river and the new delta are completed by 50 percent or may be more.
And the new cities also are under construction and some of them are already finished as new Mansura city.

This video completely overlooks the fact that the country is grappling with an alarming level of unsustainable debt. The situation is deteriorating by the day, with escalating prices and a more severe clampdown on freedoms. Furthermore, many of these so-called "new, all-inclusive, highly advanced cities" under construction come with exorbitant property prices. It's simply implausible for the new capital to accommodate 10 million residents coming from Cairo. Additionally, the substantial wall around the new capital raises concerns of clear "segregation." If this doesn't strongly imply division, I'm not sure what does. This video fails to address the significant economic and societal repercussions of these projects, which are both unsustainable and unnecessary.

You are completely wrong and even lie and mislead people's information. Let me correct your information if you do not know, knowing that I know that you are from the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood, but I am making this clear to people because you lie about everything and are ready to expose all your words. First, Egypt has debts like all countries in the world. America has the largest debt rate in the world and the infrastructure and projects that have been established will double production dozens of times. Tell me how investors will come to Egypt when it is without a decent infrastructure of services such as lands, gas, electricity, roads and ports. This is again on the latest method. Secondly, the new administrative capital does not have any walls at all, and I dare you to come to me with a video or a picture showing us that there is a wall around the new capital. You are a misleading and lying person, unfortunately.

Maybe Tanzania would be on a similar path if President Magufuli was around and they 'd have changed the constitution. 3:38 Wait, just recently I watched a video saying that Egypt actually lacks of electricity as it even has to turn it off for all people for hours every day:
    ruclips.net/video/pqsn1LymJHU/видео.html
How could it be that here on this video, it says that Egypt is an exporter of it?
Also why the Hebrew words here: 7:14

i'm egyptian and this is true, the electricity problem is because the governmental expectations about the consumption of electricity in this year was wrong it is higher, so before this problem they already have contracts between another countries to export the surplus, but we don't worry about this that much, it will end by october and it will never happen again.

    • @itsgemy

and we have gas pipeline between us and israel we export it and liquid it and then to europe, that's the reason of the hebrew words i guess

It is not true that Egypt actually exports electricity and has no problem with electricity at all due to the cut off due to the heat wave that hit the country for a month so that the malls would not explode due to the excessive heat. This ended as soon as the wave ended.

To even kickstart them we got into huge debt, with most of these projects generating no revenue for us. Proof of that is the constant devaluation of the Egyptian pound.
Crackhead inflation and police brutality constantly... We're not eating good.

I've actually recently watched a video that says that Egypt lacks in electricity, that sometimes it gets shut down for all for a few hours on purpose.
      Is it true?
How come here on the video it says that Egypt is an export of it?

    • @zzzxxx7294
      @zzzxxx7294 Год назад

@@LiranBarsisa Yes and no. We're having daily blackouts nowadays yes but not because we lack the means of producing electricity; infact the opposite.
The problem is a shortage on gas (fuel) which powers up the electric stations. This shortage is due to poor maintenence of the Zohr gas field that reduced its output by about 23%. Add to that the more demand for electricity rn for fans and ACs for summer and this is the end result.
It's important to note that due to government corruption, official Egyptian reports very often either contradict or cherry pick the facts, but since Italy themselves have investments in that gas field, that's where I'm getting my info in addition to me meeting engineers in steam power plants that also confirmed the gas shortage.
Regarding the electricity export thing: that was the official intention yes, and we do infact have the capacity to be self sufficient electricity wise and have a surplus, but the infrastructure to export the electricity is not present. And much like any mega project under the current stupid rule, no proper analysis is made and everything is wishy washy.

You don’t get it. Cairo’s a VERY old city that’s overcrowded, not planned very well, full of random unauthorised buildings etc. If you’ve seen the nile areas of cairo or what they call وسط البلد/central cairo you’ll see how renovation is super difficult. Greater Cairo are newer and more improved districts of the city such as New Cairo, 6th of October, Heliopolis etc. but even that new planning couldn’t solve the overly increasing population. And keep in mind, Egypt doesn’t just host the country for it’s own citizens but for other nationalities such as Syrians, Sudanese, Libyans, Palestinians, Syrians etc. of course it’d be a smarter idea to expand further and build newer areas. Also like the other comment said, many parts of old cairo are getting refurbished too

Why are they not investing in lifting already existing neighborhoods in Cairo? Wouldn't that be more tourist friendly and valuable?
