Like mother like daughter. If Jane was so outraged at her mother cheating on her father, then she would have let the truth be known. She was 18 at that point and old enough to know better. Jane only cared about how she could benefit from her mother's extramarital relationship. Mia doesn't have the right to claim she "gave up" her life for OP, because women like her sponge off men, either as housewives or side pieces. She was **never* going to support herself.
Jane does not deserve any sympathy. She had been an accomplice to her mother's adultery for 5 years and only want to call it unfair when the wealthy new stepdaddy-to-be is treating his own children as a higher priority. This is what liars and users do. They aren't capable of actually caring about anyone and will only fake it until they have what they want.
