I was ok with the visual works in Pathaan. But considering what red chillies have achieved, yFX should be ashamed of boasting about their substandard work and claiming it to be grand.

Fr. the dubai fight scene has so much bonky vfx. hard to believe at times that Pathaan is this big project from 2023, coz it also looks like a 2010 movie at times 💀
@@v-trigger6137 The movie has good enough vfx to get things right. It's a lot of work, and it's likely that most of the vfx department lost sleep to crunch those deadlines. The vfx is noticeable at times but 9/10 times it's not really an issue. My only issue is with them calling it the next big film to revolutionize India's VFX industry(which it definitely isn't). It just sounds ignorant and stupid.

Compare it's VFX and CGI to Jawan... Pathan just falls flat... It's just too bad...

Real budget would be Around 150Cr
it was also shot in covid. so there was a rush for production you know, that might have also faulter the vfx I believe.
Really loved pathaan. Hopefully tiger 3 vfx will be bigger and better.
To be honest Pathaan had the worst VFX. Red chillies would do it much better. Detailing and modelling were not up to the mark, lighting was all over the place.
too much of vfx looks like this only. The best way is to shoot in real location and enhance it through CGI. Red Chillies too has made shitty vfx at times when they had to produce too much vfx.

No offense Pathan team there was some color matching and gamma/exposure issues in some areas the highlight didnt match properly and smoke

Contractually not allowed by YRF probably. Even in the bts videos John acted like he actually went to Dubai for that scene, despite the fact their stunt doubles only went and they did face replacements. Also the face replacements were done quite poorly so it’s better they didn’t talk about it lol
How tf is yrf boasting about revolutionary vfx in pathaan when red chillies has done better work for last 10+ years. Also it isn't always about the vfx artists, the planning of the vfx supervisors and the director matters. Just look at the ice scene from pathaan. The ice looked great practically but last minute change in decision lead to replacing the whole ice

This train action is good but both Salman and Shahrukh jump from train is the worst. You see half of the time they are running on bogie and way behind from cliff but suddenly they jump and get hand on cliff??? Really that make it ultra unrealistic, it was until that happened

Honestly super bad VFX thruout the movie!! From Train sequences to the Russian sequences to the ice sequences it was cringe to watch 👎👎👎 only saving grace was the dubai one & a little bit of flying sequences at the end, if it wasn't for the hand fighting action sequences & the exotic locals this film wud have become a laughing stock!!
Still not buying the fact tht it was a huge international box office hit with such poor CGI quality 😅
