I've worked at a restaurant before and all you have to do is 'decide' that you don't want a customer on your property, ask them to leave, and if they don't... call the sheriff and have them officially trespassed. I've done it, personally. Why are you even pretending to not know this? Did you actually think that you have a right to service at any place you want to eat at? Is this what they taught you in school? The business can decide for themself, what customers they allow to be on their property. The sidewalk, on the other hand, is public. The restaurant cannot trespass people from a sidewalk.
