I`ve lived all over Scotland but always yearn to come back to Glasgow. I like the canyons of the red and blonde sandstone tenements which are unique to Glasgow. Depending on the area, some are nicer than others with the West End having the best. Thank you for another informative Video Paul.
Talking about the flats with kitchen Porthole windows. When we moved to Corkerhill in47 we had a brand new flat the same as these ones. As kids we always thought they looked lie boats at night wae thelights on'. Nice flats BUT there was no sound proofing ,when Jimmy Millar came home from the nightshift , you could hear him drop his boots .He was in the top flat and we were 2 down in the bottom. The Scotts in the middle bought a new Radiogram and only 1 record Edmundo Ros ,the" Wedding Tango". I still hate it.🤣🤣
