hay mate sorry for the late reply i manufactured these vents off a bonnet some one bought in to stick on a car but the lock section was welded and the hook was snapped so it wasn't safe to put on the car rather i moulded them off to put on a steel bonnet but i will be selling the bonnets with these already fitted and finished of properly its a lot of cutting so will be doing them fitted on the bonnets. when i can get around it just busy with a lot of other stuff at the moment.
so sorry Andrew for the really late reply i have been away for a while then after the pandemic got busy in the workshop trying to catch up. i will try to get some time out to manufacturer them to fit easy and put them out in the market.
sorry i meant i moulded the vents of the damage silver bonnet. i do fiber glass kits i manufactured the complete kit my self. ruclips.net/video/s9sGXDBXIQA/видео.html
appreciate the comment really busy at the moment building a lot of other stock but will message you as soon as i have enough time to get around making enough sets to become available. by the way nice ep3.
All so i haven't put them out in the market as yet but When I manage to make a good few will leave a link in one of the videos I might just do. the bonnets complete with the vents on there in different colours so people can just put them on
Dodge172 Hay man hope you keeping safe the price depends on what exactly you need doing if you just need the vents installed or painted as well finished of or if you need a complete steel bonnet with them in there and painted most guys just drop the bonnet off and pick it back up rather then bringing the car in all so depends how many people want them then I can work out a different price for the groups on the forums
Underground Customs thanks for the reply - I was thinking dropping a bonnet off and do the same job as you’ve done in the video with or without paint - I’ll pass your details over to hopefully the Facebook admin with contact you / cheers
jack smith I normally use pu adhesive or tiger seal on the top part of the bonnet which works well on the fibreglass and underneath the bonnet I use polyester resin paste which bonds it really good you can use that at the top as well but I don't put any body filler to blend the bonnet in so I use pu adhesive or tiger seal so it gives it a bit of flex and it's paintable as well but if you are blending the vents in with filler I would use the polyester resin paste so it's got no flex and it has less chances of filler cracking
@@undergroundcustoms3107 thanks bro! I am planning my first car to paint to do a full respray from black to yellow. Is a honda aswell. I was just wondering when it has bumps or dents in the body work do I need to use filler or is it only the small dents that I can do that on? Or would I need tools to pull the dents out first? Thanks!
jack smith Hay jack hope your well depending on where the dent is and if you can get to it pull it out as much as you can panel beat it with a dolly and hammer use a corse sanding paper or a grinder with a linishing pad then put the filler
