Vortech Supercharger into my street BRZ / installation

- My street BRZ is getting another upgrade! This time we head over to Vortech Superchargers to pick up my new supercharger system and take a quick tour around their factory. Adding the supercharger gave my BRZ a great boost in power but still keeping it nice and subtle at the same time.

Love how the 86/FRS/BRZ platform has so many ways to customize. The supercharger installed seems way more easy than my turbo on my FRS 🤣

Hell yeah dude! This is clean! I can’t wait for one of my own. But I’m also torn between a BRZ and a Model 3. I know they’re on opposite ends of the spectrum but I love em both 😅. Half of me wants to mod the hell out of this car while maintaining a clean look while the other half of me want to “go green” and help cut down on emissions. Plus, modified Model 3’s look clean as hell too! A few of my neighbors have them now and one guy has a matte black finish with an all blacked out trim…..man. She’s beautiful ahaha!
well... one starts at 35k new, and the other one is 65k+ new...
one can be modified, the other not so much...

The one thing I love about vortex kit is the part looks OEM and it sits so well. BTW Dai, what ST coilover are you running on the daily? I am planning to upgrade from my ST X on my FR-S in a few months. Keep up the great work and thank you for the awesome in-depth video (the engineer me just love this)!!

Does the power band carry to the top of the RPM? The kit is really clean

The kit is emissions legal, No issues with SMOG in CA.

Great Video. Planing get 2022 BRZ. will vortech fit on new 2.4 engine ?
There will undoubtedly be forced induction kits for the 2.4 engine. I imagine Vortech (and every other tuning company) is trying to get a testbed vehicle in order to mock up new kits. It'll take a while, as the companies usually have to buy the cars like any other consumer, unless they happen to have a special relationship with the manufacturer.

Will this fit the GR86 and if not does anyone know if they’re working on a new super charger for the newer model?
Supercharging these cars is the way to go. Turbo charging is laggy and ruins it. Its a no brainer

I don't see a kit for a 2020 BRZ 😭 I have a 2020 BRZ Limited that I want to supercharge or turbo
It's available through Vortech, it just requires a custom tune for the 202 model year.
Where is your shop
Any reason why vortech was chosen?
It just had good reputations in my circle of friends.
How much HP do these add?
Based on my own pursuing of threads, forums, and yt vids, somewhere in the +40whp ballpark by itself
These are not cheap systems.
