FINALLY a good video that shows how the seats are removed in the police model. Does any one know if you can replace the non folding seats with fold down seats from another charger ?
I know it's 2 years since you posted this but to anyone else wondering the same thing. You can attach the folding seat hardware to the current seats. There's a video I found while trying to find how to remove seats showing how to mod stock seats to be folding
My charger makes noise from those metal brackets on the top. Seems to be rubbing in there. Do you recommend anything, like some special grease or something to reduce the sound of metal rubbing together.
Yep hard to remove but seeing it first is much easier. I used a $20 USB wire cam for my phone to poke down in there and guide the screwdriver. I also had a squeak/rattle of the rear seat. Narrowed it down to the top clips were rubbing metal on metal and in the hole. So I fixed it and made a vid to show it a little bit. ruclips.net/video/jbD6eKUe2fo/видео.html
man this video saved my life, my mom left the keys in the trunk and the stupid trunk button is broken on my 2006 charger and I had no fucking clue how to remove the seat, thank you brotha.

Rick Ramirez well just like the video says, you take out the screws from the bottom and just lift it up there should be a little gap for some one to fit threw there, and if you left them in the little gap, then once you get someone in the trunk there should be a emergency lever inside the trunk to pop open, that's how I did it. good luck
Thank you, this helped ALOT !!! I just wish there was a way i can modify it where it can be easier to fold down without having to reach them 2 clips with a flat head screw driver which is a pain to do everytime

Do I have to take out the bottom seat
Rick Ramirez yeah the bottom one should come off pretty easily, just pull it with a little force and it should pop off
