Mother's Day Fly Fishing - May 2021

Rain all weekend in the city, so we decided to drive a couple hours to try to hook into some bigs. Hell of a day! Crazy winds, capsized canoes, rain, snow, snow hail. We decided to stick it out, and were rewarded.
No Mother's Day caddis hatch, but nymphing will do. Finally got into a few good ones after grinding it out. Biggest bag we've gotten into maybe ever. Heaviest by weight, for sure. The ones we hooked into were like footballs. xD
