Fast Fishing Trip in the Florida Keys
Second time fly fishing in saltwater saw a little bit more success than when we went to Texas. Saw a bunch of tarpon, but could only land one and a few 'cudas. Spent the last day before our flight finding some peacocks so we can check that off our list.

Spent a few days out towards Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming with great friends. Weather was great, and fishing was stellar despite the runoff. We've been busy with life, but were able to head to the Houston area for a good friend's wedding, we were able to fit in some fishing. Got a hold of a few bass on some clousers, and struggled HARD trying to find some redfish and sheepshead. Overnight in Buena Vista to practice Disc Golf

Went out after work to camp in BV, so that we could get a practice round in at the course. Tournament is at end of month, so just wanted to see how it was setup. Campsites were abundant on the off-road trails. Course was "short", but took a long time due to the terrain and seeking out baskets, shots, discs, etc. We'll see you in 4 weeks BV.

Going to Jackson lake in 2024 hoping for anything but a rainbow or brown (all I can seem to catch in CO) any tips?
I'm there literally rn, I tried this afternoon with no luck but I'm going early tomorrow to the dam I'll let you know if I have any luck brother
Such a beautiful area. I go out west occasionally and just recently took up fly fishing. I bought a 10’ Porta-Bote a few weeks ago. Getting it set up to go. A really fun boat! How was it standing up fly fishing? It is supposed to be very stable. Out do you think it would do as a “ drift” boat down a river? Nothing crazy just a gentle river. Thanks!

The toilet bowl on the frying pan used to be a great place but if you know you know and you've seen the place degrade over the last few years you've seen the Mexicans keeping all the fish using power bait and nobody doing anything about it so the fish have dropped drastically stay away stay out of Colorado
Never have seen this many fish stacked up in one place! This is only a dream for here in southern Italy.

I’ve boating at Jackson lake for 43 years now ever sense I was a kid I’ve cought a 12 pound rainbow trout at the dam I’m just saying there is some pretty big fish but mostly all of them are 1or5pounds

put them back a little quicker!! those fish are unconscious and not likely to survive. Take a picture fast, and back into water within a few seconds, minimal handling! P.S. I have been fishing there at the dam for 20+ yrs.
Great tips good sir! I didn’t even use a net yesterday. Unhooked them while in the water. Great fishery and you are blessed to live there.

The flies are listed in the description. For the spinning rod, we used spinners and trout magnets.
I was out there in mid march 2022, huge regret for not going down here. Ended up on the South Platte River instead below Cheeseman Canyon and it was a bad day for fishing not many people were hooking up. Definitely going to hit this spot up on my next trip to Colorado. Thank you for the video folks.
Definitely check out both places. TB is one of my favorites spots. If you can brave frozen fingers and numb toes, it is worth it.

Thanks for putting this together! I haven’t fished either of these spots in a few years. The toilet bowl used to epic. The really large fish would often run to the concrete walls and snap the line. Very smart and seasoned fish! What are your thoughts on JP? I’ve fished small parts of it and haven’t walked down too far Thanks
Hi Chris, definitely walk down a bit farther on JP. There are nice pockets and runs away from the crowds. I like to fish it when it's around 150-200ish cfs. I'm sure you already know, but the rocks are pretty darn slippery. Tight lines.

i think most of the catches were on really small midge patterns. size 20 - 24. the attractor is a leech with the midge as the dropper
